[05-Oct-2015 12:45:44 UTC] PHP Warning: getimagesize(https://path to file.jpg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
Hi im getting the above error in the php error log in public_html directory.
It seems to be consistent and only coming from the responsive image plugin.
What could this be, any ideas ?
]]>The readme file says:
“Basically, it [e.g. the Plugin] creates a frame for an image rather than adding an image directly, and the frame size can be set before the image is added, much like in Adobe inDesign, where frames can be laid out and then have pictures inserted into them.”
Well, where is that frame setting? I can’t seem to find it anywhere!
Thanks.
Is it possible for this plugin, or do you know of another plugin, that can post more than one image in this way, from the media library, into a sidebar or widget area?
This plugin could do it but it is very outdated now. I’m looking for something like this:
]]>Hi benarobinson,
Thank you for creating this fantastic plugin, just a quick question.
Any possibility of making the title link to the url which is added to the optional “URL to Link To” field like the image?
How can this be done?
Thanks
Darren
I would really be able to have the single “RECENT WORK” image display right on the home page in a light box rather than linking to the attachment page. Is this at all possible?
]]>I tried responsive image widget but deleted it because my site was running very slow. When tested with P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler) it showed 69% (5.4 seconds) of my runtime is due to responsive image widget.
So I deleted the plugin. I’m using Image Widget instead.
The site is still very slow and P3 is still saying that 69% is due to responsive image widget…….
There is no responsive folder in the plugins folder. I have used the plugin “clean options” and there are no orphaned options that belong to responsive.
Something must still be calling responsive files…….
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi,
I just downloaded this plugin, which is very useful.
I would like to ask if there’s any piece of code I can add to make the link open in a new window.
Also, this could be an option on the widget itself, right next to the Link field.
Thanks.
Tiago
The responsive feature is working fine and the image is showing at correct size, but the image I am using now appears lower down vertically than the image next to it. Whereas when it was previously in the ‘image widget’ it sat perfect but wasn’t responsive.
Site in question is:

Banner titled ‘enjoy amazing food’
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
]]>Hello there,
I thought your plugin might be the answer for one of my clients, however when I tried it out in sidebar, an error message displayed in the sidebar, with the image displayed below it. Here is a screenshot of the message:
https://www.atlas500000.co.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/resp-img-error-msg.jpg
The only data I entered into the widget was the image URL (i.e. no title or anything else). Could this have caused any issues? I am using a child theme of the Responsive theme. I inserted the widget into the sidebar of the inner part of the site (not the homepage).
Thank you so much,
Amber

Problem: As soon as I add a link at “URL to Link To (optional):” the image disappears but the widget title remains. Thanks.
