This plugin has changed WordPress admin panel’s font when I activated. Which is very bad. Very bad. So I deleted.

I’ve tried other ones and this one is almost perfect!
Here are the little minus:
– In the style Still Image Background, the logo doesn’t show
– In the style Simple Image Background, it adds the text “we will be right back within,”, which is not good for new sites or, like for me, French site (it still adds the custom text that we put, but this one in English as well…)
– It seems that the timer needs to be at least 5 hours; if not, it simply goes directly to the site (i.e. no splash page)

This are cons:
– not all texts could be modyfied (eg dates names),
– countdown is unavoidable,
– social images aren’t included but only linked from externals servers (through http)
– google fonts are also linked through http
If you have site secure by ssl this results message about security.

Nice pluggin, but how would I make wp-admin active to access my admin page after activating this pluggin? I have to rename the folder through ftp to login. I’m using CSS3_Background_Animation1. Kudos!

Any discrepancy listed below has been fixed or is in the process of being worked on. I am happy to see this plugin and it’s authors are taking a proactive approach in making this a better plugin.

Old Review
This plugin comes with multiple problems.
1. The developer does not respond to any form of support inquires.
2. The countdown clock displays the wrong time.
3. The social media links do not display the proper URL’s.
4. Social Media links are not displayed on all background types.
5. If you click on the Support Options tab located in your administration ares the help tab will disappear and the Support Options Tab is rendered useless. The same thing goes with the Help tab.
6. The company logo does not get displayed unless you are using an animated background.
7. There is an annoying box that is displayed when using the YouTube video option.
8. There is no way to use a custom background from the plugin options.
9. The words “Get In Touch” is displayed above the social media links and can not be removed or customized.
10. The simple image background type displays the words “we will be right back within,”. The text can not be removed or modified.
11. Did not care to test the Roles functionality because I am the only person logging into my site, and nothing else worked properly so I opted not waste the time. Sorry.
This plugin should be labeled as Alpha because this not even Beta quality, and is no where near production ready.
I know the developer worked hard on this plugin and as harsh as I may sound this is an honest review.
