I see that many people encounter the same issue as me:
“How do we have the pictures to remain colorful and not sepia?”
“This free version of the plugin handles only sepia images ! No color images”
“Your help would be much appreciated as the plugin isn’t very useful (to me) converting my color photos to grayscale”

Since non of these questions were replied, here is the solution:
comment out line #283 in file wp-plugin-auto-image-resizer.php:
//ImageFilter($image_resized, 1);
Thats it!
while you’re at it, you can comment out lines 228-232 to get rid of the annoying message which comes up at the upload page…

Hello i just bought the plugin and frankly it works really good… too bad i had to find out that image resampling is just terrible. I grabbed the same photo and resized it in photoshop and compressed it to the same quality and the difference is abysmal.

I really feel like i overpaid for something that is not doing the job.

Please fix this or i would like a refund.

When I upload jpgs they are converted to grayscale. I do not have the pro version and do not want the pictures converted to gray.

I had recently installed WPGoogle Maps (pro version), but it wasn’t working properly. I couldn’t access the advanced menu options. I contacted the author, who had me pull a log.

I kept getting this error:

SyntaxError: illegal character
javascript:document.getElementById(\
Line 1

So, at his suggestion, I deactivated my plug-ins one by one. Once I disabled Image Auto Resizer (pro) my errors went away and I was able to see the advanced options.

Do you know if this can be fixed, as I rely on your plugin for my remote images, but would also like to use the Google Maps plugin?

A while ago I installed Auto Image Resizer Lite v1.2. I am assuming this is the same plugin but the version is 1.0.3. I’m a tad confused. Is it actually the same plugin? Should I uninstall 1.2 and install 1.0.3? Or should the version I have installed be 1.0.2 and there is a typo in the plugin file

Hi, am just wondering if it is possible to extend this plugin to work with buddypress avatar upload. currently buddypress avatar upload require cropping which some noob dont know how to and their cropping not showing their faces.

This free version of the plugin handles only sepia images ! No color images !! There is plenty of plugins doing the same thing for free so I suggest you look at them.
