Thank you for helpful plugin!

This not only allowed me to label custom html widgets, but also removed default widget titles from displaying on my page that I had no option to omit before. Works like a charm! Thank you so much!!

Brilliant and simple. Absolutely should be in Core.
Little tip – your title just needs to start with “!”, you can have a space after the “!”.
i.e. “! Hello World”, which I think is nicer and easier to read than “!Hello World”.

Must have plugin!

It just works! And I agree with other commenters that it should be in WP core. Thank you for this needed plugin.

How did I not know about this before? All the css… sheesh.
Brilliant.

Simple and good plugin that gives you the opportunity to hide selectively each widget title.

Works as advetrised. Nothing much to say, small, simple plugin that just works, and thats all what it needs to do.

Simply works as stated… Not updated in near a year, so hoping it will stay current, because now that I have it can’t imaging being without it… (-: Makes no sense this feature is not in core a long time ago…

Title says it all. A single “!” allows the user to organize and identify widgets but prevent the title from showing.
If I told you what I had to do with CSS to accomplish this plugin, you would cry.
This plugin should be core — it’s transparent and effective.

Simple but effective.

Great and simple. Thank you

The plugin solves an annoying issue which I think WP should have the hiding widget title as a built in option. The plugin author could come up a way to allow displaying the tile in the admin for reference purposes and hide the title in the HTML instead of using a CSS trick. It’s supper simple and works.
Thank you.

I have to say that this is probably one of my most favorite plugins. I added it to my personal top list of plugins that I use for my WordPress theme demos and every time I release a theme, it ends up being part of my setup tutorials for my end-users to download it for both the free and premium themes.
It’s well worth more than 5 stars, but I can only choose 5. Honestly, I wish this was part of the core.

Despite the plugin saying it’s compatible until version 3.8, it works with 4.1 as expected.

Well most plugins these days never work first go.. this one does! I was shocked.. I have soo many plugins, having one that works without modification is a sigh of relief!

Crazy easy. Install and put “!” in front your widget titles to hide them.

I really like the simple way you’ve chosen to implement this: no messy checkbox UI added to every widget options, just an extra character in the title.

Google rules frown on hidden text and say it will affect your search engine results. I wonder how this plugin would rate, even though it is used in an innocent way?
