I just got a notification in my website “Remove Comment IPs plugin” removed from www.remarpro.com.
So I just wanted to know if that is any security reason behind this because I still using this plugin.
So should I need to remove this plugin from my website?
Please help regarding this.

Hi there! Is this plugin also suitable for Woocommerce? Are the IPs also deleted from orders via Woocommerce? Thank you, Renate

Would be nice to have the possibility to

• override the comment_author_IP to be used (I prefer to set the IP to 127.0.0.1)
• perhaps even only anonymize the existing IP by deleting one or two octets
• set the maximum storage duration of the original IP address – 60 days seems a bit too much to be really compliant with DGPR

Right now I altered these values directly in the plugin, but that’s not really a good solution…

thank you that you provide this useful little plugin! Unfortunately for me it’s not working. 8 hours after activation there are still all IPs of the existing comments in the database.

I have a crontab running every 10 minutes calling the wp-cron.php

What could be the reason? Do you need further information?
