Hello, love the plugin, just have a hiccup.
If you look at the image thumbnails for related posts, you’ll notice what appears to be about a 5px whitespace below each thumbnail. I’ve inspected and see nothing on the padding anywhere…so I have no idea where it’s coming from. Any ideas?
]]>In the List tuning ->Disable contextual matching tab it says: “Selecting this option will turn off contextual matching. This is only useful if you activate the option: “Only from same” from the General tab…” I looked in the General tab, but the “Only from same” item is not there.

]]>I bought Related Posts plugin on April 3, 2024 but it did not work on my site so I sent an email on April 3 to get a refund. I also sent an email on Aug 4, and I sent an email 2 or 3 days ago, asking for a refund.
I have NOT HAD A RESPONSE YET FROM THE CREATOR OF THE PLUGIN. I am a paying customer. Your site says: “Priority email support is only given to customers with an active subscription.”
I am a paying customer, am I not entitled to the same “priority” support? This is horrible customer service, to state on your website that customers: “100% happiness. We 100% believe in the quality of our products. Not happy with your purchase? We’ll give you your money back within 14 days of your purchase.”
Well, I am not happy with my purchase. It’s been 9 days since i sent you my first email and you still have not responded. Buyer Beware!
I don’t consider 9 days without a response to be “priority.” Why haven’t i received a response? Your plugin did NOT WORK on my site. I want a full refund.
“Premium customer get top notch email support. Over 90% of our customer rate our support Great!”
If you have to wait a minimum of 9 days for a response, you do not have premium customer support. This is misleading and incorrect.
]]>Hello,
I just updated one of my sites from PHP 8 to 8.1, and the log is constantly filling with the following 2 notices:
Deprecated: strpos(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($haystack) of type string is deprecated in /home/site/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 7241
Deprecated: str_replace(): Passing null to parameter #3 ($subject) of type array|string is deprecated in /home/site/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2187
The notices disappear when I deactivate this plugin. Any idea on what is causing this and how to resolve it?
Thanks!
Sarah
Hello
I successfully installed this plugin and I set the amount of related posts to display to 4. Before I installed it, the information said the related posts are determined automatically, but we can change them manually. I have not seen in the documentation how to do this. Additionally, you can not see the related posts in the admin side when editing a post, only from the front end, so I have no idea what posts were selected until I go to the front end.
Please note I am not saying I want to know how to delete a post – I want to change a post that I think is not related or manually add one that I prefer. Thank you
I have WordPress 6.4.3.
]]>Hey. There’s a small error in this plugin which triggers when using WP-CLI.
PHP Warning: Undefined array key "HTTP_HOST" in /var/www/vhosts/example.com/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/related-posts-for-wp/classes/class-playground.php on line 9
Warning: Undefined array key "HTTP_HOST" in /var/www/vhosts/example.com/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/related-posts-for-wp/classes/class-playground.php on line 9
The error appears to be harmless, but it emits the error twice for every execution of WP-CLI, which is polluting the logs of our automated processes. On one website with Related Posts for WP installed that error message appears in the logs over 50 times every day when a number of automated tasks are executed.
All it needs is to change:
if ( strpos( $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'], "playground.wordpress.net" ) !== false ) {
To:
if ( strpos( $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] ?? '', "playground.wordpress.net" ) !== false ) {
]]>
I only have 129 posts, but it stopped at 99%. I waited for a time, then restarted it and it stopped again at 99%.
So I waited 30 minutes, but nothing happened.
Is it stuck, or do I need to wait longer?
]]>So I ran the Wizard for Related Posts for WordPress .. and it automatically created links without confirming or showing me.
There seems to be no way in wordpress to see this either.
AND – if one reverces what it did … ALL of the links (including ones placed their prior) are DELETED!
OMG!
WHAT A DISASTER!

how can do this?
]]>Hi
I am getting regular, almost daily error messages on my error log regarding this plugin. These don’t seem to occur when adding the post, or when linking to other posts in admin.
But if a user clicks on a related post on the website, the link will function correctly, but errors are created on the error log. Eg:

Can anyone shed any light why this is happening?
thanks!

Hi, I have a little problem with the plugin.
The div .rp4wp-related-posts appear under my article and under the footer.
I checked the widget and the plugin isn’t here.
Do you have to provide me the hook for check in my theme why the plugin appear two times ?

]]>Hi.
I’ve a problem with catching posts. The caching process goes to 100%, except that it lists 3 “todo” left and won’t move to linking. Related posts on “old” are invisible. On new post too.
Help, please ??
Please delete/ignore, I accidentally posted in the wrong plugin’s support area. Sorry.
]]>Hi,
We have just recently activated the premium version of the plugin and we seem to be having some issues with the related post thumbnails.
We have the thumbnail set to 150 x 150 but the premium version of the plugin seems to not be cropping this properly so our images appear stretched/distorted.
We were using the free version of the plugin before and this was working fine.
Any advice on how best to solve this? Ideally we would like to be able to use the premium version given the other features that come with this.
Thanks!
]]>Dear Never5 Team,
We are struggling to contact you via https://www.relatedpostsforwp.com/contact/ form. We submitted two support requests with all the needed License information, but still, we didn’t receive any response for months. We are having issues with the Premium version of the plugin which is vital for our site.
Could you please check the tickets submitted by [email protected] email?
Thank you in advance!

Hi. I sent this in on the plugin homepage but no response yet. The caching process goes to 100%, except that it lists 1 “todo” left and won’t move to linking. I have 6000 posts in the taxonomy type and so I let it process overnight, but the problem remains. I’ve tried recaching several times.
The program works fine with regular blog posts – about 200.
Thanks.
