In the free version, who receives the email with the code? The referrer AND the referred person, or just the referrer?

Is the coupon that would be generated (when a referral link is used for a purchase) found on the Marketing -> Coupons section of the admin panel?

The plug-in is installed and I have gone to WooCommerce “Refer A Friend” settings tab and followed the SET UP guide to complete the two steps Note: Email tab has my message and {{code}} placeholder included.

I am testing the free version of the plugin and hope to make it available to my customers in a week or two. While checking my server records, the file

/wp-content/plugins/refer-a-friend-for-woocommerce-by-wpgens/public/js/cookie.min.js?ver=1.3.0

has generated over 55,239 404 errors.

It doesn’t look normal to me. Is my installation that created the problem? Is this normal?

Do you have the following function?

The referral person provides a printed card with a code for 10% discount to the other people. Then those people do some purchase on my website and enter this code in a relative field. When the purchase is completed, the referral person gets some points/money to its account (created on my website in a special section)

How to set up 10% percentage commission for each person for each order ? The affiliate person should get 10% of the total bill each order .

In case of when the woocommerce order is moved to “Refund” status I need that the issued coupon should become invalid. How this can be achieved, I don’t see any options in the settings.

When I log in to my site as a customer I do not see a link in the account page to “Refer a friend”. Am I missing something?

1. Is there a way to change the URL of where the referral link is pointing? I want it to open to a specific page.
2. Is there a way to mark the coupons used by either crossing them off or deleting them. I’m finding that when they’re used in the free version they still remain there and the only way the customer knows that its used is when they try to apply it again at checkout.

I normally look at other support requests to see how long the dev takes to respond to questions before I invest time (and hopefully upgrade).

But I am worried. ?? One took a month, currently there’s an unanswered one running for six days today.

I have woocomerce store, I need to create a referral program which gives a free product to affiliate member and a 10% discount to referee (Customer). Referrer (Affiliate) will send a specific referral code to referee (Customer) who will hopefully use code that gets them a 10% discount.

Having successfully installed this plugin, everything works fine until the time that the user goes to apply the coupon code to his cart. Having set the minim spent at 25EUR, the user has added 27.99EUR on the cart but the coupon is not applied. Instead, it appears the message “You need to spend a minimum of 25EUR”. Is there any workaround with that issue ?

I noticed when using the plugin in a multilingual (mainly German) shop that the text “Your referral code” is still displayed in English on the account page, although a de_DE file was automatically included during installation. This file is also recognised by Loco Translate and can easily be duplicated into the /wp-content/loco/ directory. After this move, the strings are suddenly taken over and it works.

Something doesn’t seem to be configured correctly here, because on the plugin page it says: “This plugin has not yet been translated into German. Help to translate it!” .. But the language file has 100% of the strings in it .. When I click on the link provided, it says “This plugin is not properly prepared for localization” above it and the values below are not correct..

I just wanted to point this out – I don’t really need any help, as it works in combination with Loco Translate.

Can you have different coupons with different reward values depending on User Role or Product purchased for instance?

Hi, I’m trying to translate the email that comes to the referral with the code (I have an ecommerce multilingual), but I can’t.

WPML doesn’t see the string, so I tried to edit the class-gens-raf-public.php file by adding “_e (…)”:
if ($ user_message == “” || $ subject == “”) {
$ user_message = _e (‘You referred someone! Here is your coupon code reward: {{code}}.’, ‘gens-raf’);
$ subject = _e (‘Hey there’, ‘gens-raf’);
}

WPML sees the strings in English and at that point I add the translation.
however the email always arrives in English only.
If I remove the text / subject from the plugin settings, the email arrives blank.

How can I solve?

Mailpoet has been acquired by WooCommerce. There is (will be bigger) an integration between Mailpoet and Woo.

Added the plugin, set it up, done test orders, and made sure they’re completed, but no emails are coming through.

I checked spam, and ‘all mail’ but still no luck.

I’m thinking it’s the way the website may be set up or a different plugin is interfering? Where should I go from here.
