There is an issue with the current version of Redirect.
When I uncheck the options: ‘Ignore trailing slashes’ and ‘Ignore parameters’ it doesnt work and when I go back into edit the rule the boxes are checked again and doesnt seem to hold the unchecked status.

When the setting is selected, there is no indication it’s been saved or any save button. I navigate to another tab and then back to the Redirection & 404 logs tab only to find the setting reverted back to the default – Never – :

After updating my plugins and WordPress to the newest versions, I am unable to edit Elementor templates on my websites. Elementor prompts me to switch to “safe mode”.

When I disable the “redirection” plugin, Elementor loads correctly.

I regret that I cannot disclose the URL since it is a client site. However, I can provide you with a test environment if necessary.

This plugin seems like a godsend, but I’m getting “fixed for next time” by all my 404’s when I haven’t elected to redirect them!! I did NOT set an all 404 redirect rule. How do I get the green redirect button back so I can send them to the correct url’s? Thanks!

Just trying to find out how to have it set up so that the first time someone visits the site, they’re sent to a specific page, then after that they are automatically sent to the homepage. Thanks!

When I click on any link like post , pages and other link from left sidebar, Copy Successful message appear. The message should be appear only when the post or page duplicated. I have deactivated and activated plugin several time but same problem occurs? I think there a bug.

I have a news category, like site.com/category/news/. Yoast plugin sets the canonical direction from the second page <link rel=”canonical” href=”site.com/category/news/page/2/” class=”yoast-seo-meta-tag” />. A duplicate of the main page may appear but Google recommend redirection to canonical page the main page of category, like site.com/category/news, not site.com/category/news/page1/.

How to redirect all pagination’s pages like …/page/2, …/page/3, etc to the category page /category/news/

I checked it and the issue is with the plugin Redirect Redirection, we tested it on chat, but we were seeing a cached version of the site(probably a cache coming from the site’s CDN/Firewall that seems to be Cloudfare).

In essence, in the video I show that if we disable the ‘Redirect Redirection’ and try to access the secondary languages with a dummy param like ?nocache or ?nc just to bypass cache, we’re able to see the home page in the secondary languages just fine.
If we re-enable the plugin and test it, even with the parameter in the URL, the site is redirected to the main language.
Can you please reach out to the plugin support and ask them to help you find a configuration that will allow you to use the plugin without affecting the language switcher functionality?

Hello, I think I’m making a mistake using your plugin. I can redirect problematic link A to link B. However, when I redirect another link C to link D, it automatically assigns it to link B, which was my last redirect. So every time I redirect, the previous correct connection is saved. I hope I was able to explain, thank you.

I tried to redirect to a URL containing the “@” character (widely used in YouTube channels, for example) and it doesn’t accept it.

In my case it failed when I tried to edit an existing redirect and wanted to add a URL to it with a YouTube channel.

Does not work with “Redirects to a specific URL”.
Works with “Redirect rules”.

The problem is that the plugin choose this redirection Blog – H?tel de Verdun (hoteldeverdun-nevers.fr) and my homepage is considering like a 404 page.

I recently used the redirection plugin,

But after using it to redirect my homepage to my product page. It now altered the .htaccess file. So it is now redirecting every page to my product page, including my front end page builder. Even after deleting the plugin.

Is their any way to fix this? And how can I use this plugin in the future so this can be avoided?

And all I get is an Error Alert saying: Please ensure your entry is valid

The problem is that the admin email wasn’t set up properly and I had changed it and I have reset the plugin and it still send to the old email address.
