I am trying to create a page similar to the wp_login page.
Where there are 2 fields, A “username” field and a email field (the email field is saved and recorded for marketing purposes), attached to this page I want a 2 column table (column A consist of a list of “usernames”) & (Column B consist of the links the “usernames” redirect to, all these usernames redirecting to different links”. The purpose of the table feature is so I can continuously add “usernames” and the links they redirect to as needed.
The function im looking for is when customers go to this page, they can type their code “username” in the first field, and there email (similar to a registration) in the second field. The email is saved to a seperate table or spreadsheet and the user is redirected to a specific page based on the code they typed in the first field.
you can also think of it as logging into a subscriber page with no password, the subscriber page as the substitute for the code “username”
Can someone help me with this?
]]>Hi,
Is there a way to figure out which post or page I created the redirect on? I’d like to just export a list of all redirects and where I got edit them.
Thanks,
Nick
Is it possible to connect this plugin with the WP User Frontend plugin? The user should be able to set the redirection via WP User Frontend form. Could you please help me?
]]>Hello,
Great and nifty plugin, I must say.
Works a treat with my current project.
However, is it possible to add or modify your source php a bit, so every redirect becomes a _blank target?
Feedback:
Or maybe this could be feedback for your next update.
To have it optional for inbound links (same window for simple redirects ex. to other pages or posts within your site)
and then a choice for attachment redirects or external URL (ex. you want to open a new window if you redirect to a PDF or another site you’re referencing, if that makes sense).
Cheers Reno
]]>I got the following message after installing the plugin:
Warning: Missing argument 3 for wpseo_upgrader_process_complete() in /nfs/www/WWW_pages/lduggan9/litkidz.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/wpseo-non-ajax-functions.php on line 259
Any ideas?
]]>Love the plugin, just wanted to know if there was a way to change the custom field name that the plugin looks for to create the redirect.
I would like to choose a different custom field.
Thank you for your time.

]]>Hi,
i’m working with your plugin and i would like to notice you that when the post in charge of been redirected contains attachments, these attachments are not well redirected. You have to manage this behaviour because the generated URL is not coherent with any URL rule.
Bye.

]]>Hello,
After upgrading to 3.5.1 i am getting the following error:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at …/wp-includes/general-template.php:2102) in …/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 876
While at a first look seems unrelated, after looking into the coding the issue seems to be caused by a redirect function and after disabling this plugin everything is working correctly.
How can we fix this ?

]]>I am on 3.4.2 of wordpress. Made the custom filed as required.
I then made a link on another page to the page with the custom field but when I click to the page it does not redirect.
Plus accessing the page directly, it does not redirect.
Custom field is Name: redirect and value: https://mysite.com/?p=64
The value works fine and plugin is active.

]]>Hi, really love the plugin. Just a tiny small suggestion. Could you make the plus sign darker on mouse-over just like the arrow? It’s a tiny detail, but it looks much nicer.

]]>Hey there, great plugin – simple, does the job.
However… because the nature of it is redirecting a user it would be great to either use a custom field to define the target within each instance or even globally with an option within the plugin code.
Basically I have a site with mixed needs – it would be great to define whether the link is allowed to load over the current page (default) or open up in a new page… but I’d be happy with just opening everything as one or the other, if I had that option. In my case I’d just set it all to target=blank if I could…
Thanks!

]]>I think it would be great if users could set a delay of redirection…
Let’s say 5-10 seconds of delay with notice that they will be redirected and “back” button in case visitor want to go back?
Cheers!

]]>I installed the plugin, made a post and made a custom field with label redirect and the value with an url. Saved the post and then the custom field was empty again. Tried it many times, with same result. ANd yes, the plugin is installed and activated. Checked that one, because I thought myself that maybe I missed a step there.

]]>Is it possible to redirect some of my posts to their category archieves page with your plugin…
The thing is that I cannot go over few hundreds of posts and edit post by post redirection. (but I can add custom field to desired ones)
I believe this cloud be achieved if this or any similar plugin could get the category of the current post with specific value entered in “redirect” custom field like “%category” and redirect to category url.
It could also be extended and set to get urls of “%date” or “%author” archive pages for selected post…
I would appreciate any help..
Thanks!

]]>Great plugin!
It works fine, just it’s very slow redirection…
I believe it’s because it tries to redirect to exact post on redirected page.
In my case those posts don’t exist anymore on redirected page, so the result is 404 page.
How to make it redirect directly to homepage?
Perfect solution would be if it could recognize the category of current post and tries to redirect to corresponding directory “archives” page on redirected page…
Cheers!
