RealTidBits not loading in page

Gday RTB support

I have installed the plugin and applied the fields with the details.

When the page loads it doesn’t load the RTB info block, just a spinning symbol.

There was a time recently when it did load, and I was able to make a comment, but I haven’t seen it load very often.

If you need to login to check, I can send login details to an email address you supply me?

Gday RTB support

I am receiving the following error when logging in to my WordPress site that has a newly installed RTB plugin:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in /home/domain/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/realtidbits-comments/backplane.php on line 49

Is this a known issue with the plugin and do you have any documentation of how to fix it?
