I’m an author of one of the below plugins, so can relate to not responding to the support forums here, when I previously took a long break from development.
For those looking for currently maintained plugins for static site export, they may try these:

]]>I’ve tried running this plugin several times.
Running mytop a single SELECT is shown + nothing.
No errors. No additional SQL runs. Nada.
Site has 782 posts, so maybe this is to much content for plugin to handle.
Unsure.
]]>Hi
Under “Domainprefix for your cached files” if i pass a “/” instead of https://mydomain.com I get https:///
Since i need to provide a relative URL https:/// breaks. Can you send an update that adds the exact string as the cached file path as i enter under this text box

Hi,
Its an amazing piece of work. Everything worked perfect till i found that the path is missing index.html in the url.
For example:
https://d1sl9ck6adjwl9.cloudfront.net/bedroom-interior-designs/bedroom-designs/
wont work, but
https://d1sl9ck6adjwl9.cloudfront.net/bedroom-interior-designs/bedroom-designs/index.html would work.
Since i am uploading this to S3 we need to provide fully qualified URL.
Please help.
]]>I’m using Really Static for a project which is working pretty well. It allows me to use static content in a web application. Each time I make a change on a page the plugin export the related page and it ressources.
I need to reuse all this static content (html, image, script…) for a Spring MVC application. To do that, I manually run a script to convert all the links to work into my Spring application.
Do you have a solution to add a post routine to convert the links? Of course the better solution would be an option in Really Static that allows to run a post routine…
The possible solutions I have found so far used a deamon to know if it’s needed to run the script :
Hi, I want to export all the sub pages of the site (there are 5 main pages) and one of these has 8000+ sub pages. I want to still have wp as the main site and all the sub pages I want to be served in html.
How can I approach this?
All that happens when I try the plugin is that it creates the wp-content folder but no pages and it gives no errors (says done)
I have used the plugin before and loved it but dont understand what I am doing wrong.
Thanks.
]]>I couldn’t properly install it at a Shared hosting (bluehost)
]]>Hello,
I am using the really static plugin in combination with the genesis framework.
When i generate a copy of the static site the child theme CSS file does not get copied,
Is there any way to fix this?
]]>I activated this for the whole network (not intentionally). Then I had a user run live mode and now all of my blogs are messed up. You can see their posts and pages in the dashboard with no problems, but all the links on their main pages go to “file does not exist” error pages when people click the “more” tags. Network deactivation does not work to fix the problem.
My theory is that the plugin redirects pages since the data exists in the dashboard, but I cannot find where it is redirecting all of the different blog pages to. All of the file structure is correct, the databases look fine (since I can see posts and pages just fine in the dashboard). Is there a way to modify the PHP that is redirecting all of my pages/posts?
I am not against paying for help if I must.
]]>Hey man,
I just installed your plugin really static, tried for a while, then removed. Now I cannot create any sitemap anymore, in yoast sitemap it is always pointing your removed folder as really-static/static/main_sitemap.xsl something like that. probably you injected something to sitemap or any other conflict.. I removed your plugin but still it does not go away. I scanned all db and also cehcked everywhere tried many things, please help me. ??
]]>Hello,
Is it possible to use the plugin to create static html pages of your posts only? I need to serve those to certain tabs I am using via ajax but I don’t need the whole page where each post is displayed. I only need the post layout and content saved to an html.
Thanks in advance.
]]>Hi, it doesn’t work with woocommerce ?
]]>Greeting developer, if I’m using Really Static then use togater with cache plugin are tehre will be any problem? I do love if I’m publishing my post, then Really Static are generate Static HTML and cache plugin caching the static html.
]]>Can Really Static export with relative URLs (ex: “page.html”)? I’ve exported it to a subdirectory but am downloading that subdirectory and migrating it to the root of the domain on another server so I don’t want index.html linking “/my/subdirectory/of/original/export” URLs.
]]>I turned up my error logging and your scripts throw off tons of error notices to the point it is unusable. This slows down the overall site it is installed on. You have all kinds of undefined constants. When you have a variable like $test[name], It needs to be $test[‘name’]. You may have a great idea but the code is very sloppy. You should turn on your logging so you can properly error correct and resolve all your coding errors.
]]>Hello!
You did a great job! But I encountered one problem. I use it on subdomain, content generates on main site domains.
It appears, plugin generates home page and all further pages of it. And only when it’s done, it generates static page of the post itself.
I have quite large site and now visitors can watch blogpost after 5-7 minutes from publishing.
Is there a chance to fix it? Where should I look? Thank you in advance.
Sincerely, Tari

My blog has a custom script to separate users and force a login before displaying the site. Is there a way to get RS to log into the site before caching?
]]>Here’s my goal: I have a wordpress installation reachable at origin.example.com and I want to host on S3 with a domain https://www.example.com
First I tried just using the plugin with saving it to a folder. The html are saved, but most assets & images that had the link “origin.example.com” remained and did not change to “www.example.com” (even after specifiing www as the domain prefix).
Second, I donated and downloaded the s3 plugin. when I tried to rebuild the static site, nothing happened. It freezes on:
“Working on: done scanning for files”
Really I can upload to s3 myself. But i must hide origin.example.com completely.
]]>I am using this on a corporate website that has a blog included on the site. I receive a 404 error when clicking the “Older Posts” link to navigate to Page 2 of the blog or any other older posts pages in the blog area of the site.
Any idea why Page 2 and on wouldn’t be made into a static page?
]]>I just installed it and assigned the directory and chmod 777 and I still get th: Trying Write/Read/Delete File” error.
]]>What is the difference between “work with local filesystem” and….”say where visitors can view this files”?
Wouldn’t where the static files reside be where visitors can view them?
What does the information on where visitors can view them do? Does it write links?
I am using this on a localhost system that I will then upload to a remote server. So I’m not clear from the descriptions what to do so that the domain is correct.
]]>I’m testing this plugin and if I save some Menu in “Appearance > Menu” I will receive the two messages:
“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in {myhost}/wp-content/plugins/really-static/main.php on line 2459”
and
“Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at {myhost}/wp-content/plugins/really-static/main.php:2459) in {myhost}/wp-includes/option.php on line 571
I’m testing it with local server.
And in this moment the plugin not refresh all the site with the new Menu or Menu Item… this just refresh the home page.
]]>Hi,
The plugin seems to work correctly on Windows (all pages generated) but when we install the site on the production platform (Linux CentOS) then all the pages are generated except the homepage…
The page is generated when doing it manualy using “Refresh a single site manualy” with value: “https://mydomain.com/index.php”
but even this is not perfect: the generated static file is named ‘index.php’ (instead of index.html).
Please help !
thank you
Louis
The easy install worked on the temp basis, so I went with the live. None of the pages can be found, now.
Can I end the nightmare by simply deactivating the plugin, or will that make things worse?
Somehow, I fear my patience will expire before I get an answer.
EDIT: Never mind. I discovered that deactivating restores things to normal. Don’t know what the problem was, but I’ll consider this resloved.
]]>Is there any way I can test this?
Thanks.

Is there a resolution/fix to get SFTP working with really-static? I see I’m not the only one reporting it on the forums.
Thank you.
