Is very difficult to just turn on SSL forwarding. It asks tricky questions to enable notifications, and even when you think you’ve turned it off, it still sends you spam emails from your own website.

When individuals or companies promise to support their plugin or service, sometimes we (the consumer) can become indifferent to what that actually means. After purchasing this plugin, I encountered multiple issues that stem from my inability to understand what I was doing, why I was doing it, and more importantly, I didn’t understand the sectional questions or the corresponding reading material. Then there was the speed issue that rendered my website to a snail pace whenever I activated the plugin.
While English is my first language, I was still confused and a more than little terrified I would get things wrong (or, make things worse), so I reached out to Really Simple and asked for their help.
What I received was the antidote to my worries and fears. Jarno took on my ticket, and with his patience and kindness, configured the plugin to suit my website environment, and he did it with a level of professionalism that did not demean my intelligence or fears. He also found the speed issue within his plugin and fixed that, and then reminded me to reach out to him again should I need further assistance.
It’s that type of high-level customer support that makes paying for PRO versions of plugins worth it. I doubt I could have spent my $49 better.
Thank you, Jarno.

Really Simple SSL used to be a great plugin. Since they have changed moved this to be an all-in security plugin, it overloaded to of our client’s websites. I have spent the last few days diagnosing the issue and after removing the plugin altgother everything is normal.
Therefore I will not be using this plugin again for any of my sites, as this has potentially lost me a client. Thanks a bunch >:(

Simple and practical, no need for too many words ??

for starters this POS installed multiple other plugins without me realizing it. Then nothing useful is done without each of those plugins nagging you to ‘upgrade to pro’ for an exorbitant fee, none of which do anything you cannot do for yourself without the cost. I do not run a business site, it’s all personal, making zero dollars. Do yourself a favor, find something else, like AIOWPS, it has a Pro, but out of the box works great without stealth add-ins and constant nags.

I used to love Really Simply SSL, because it was just that, really simple.
After they decided they want to also be a do-it-all security plugin, I just don’t need it. I already use a different security plugin. Maybe it’s good at security, I don’t know. I’m just not interested in using it. And because I wouldn’t run two security plugins at once, now I have to find another really simple ssl plugin.
Oh, and their new scare tactics with the wordpress security alert center are really scummy. Critical alerts lead to features in their plugin, but they are paid/pro features. So, scared site owners will think they need these things and upgrade out of fear. And these developers are abusing the wordpress site health system in this little trick.

Hi, it helped to quickly check if there were any obvious issues with our wordpress website. Recommended.

This plugin works perfectly and if you need help setting up HTTPS its great. However, after using it for years I am now leaving it. All new features are pay-features (“PRO”) and it will constantly add issues to the site health checker to force you to pay. It simply is not the way WP is supposed to work. There are plenty of guides out there to strengthen your site.
But… if you need a one-step https-plugin go ahead. It is technically flawless.

Ya no es necesario preocuparme más por la seguridad de mi sitio web.

By now developers have become aware that you can use the healthscreen to nagg users with “critical” issue that turn out to be covered by a different plugin or aren’t neccessarry at all. This plugin naggs you to enable their Firewall and their “Limited Login Attempts”. In my case, both are handled with Wordfence wich works pretty well. If the authors of this plugin want me to end my subcription, then please continue. Otherwise remove the nagg from the health screen or you plugin will be reported.

This is one of the self-evident plug-ins to pay for in my arsenal of tools. Not only does it help with setting up a secure connection, it also gives very useful security suggestions, scans for vulnerabilities in the installations and other plug-ins.
During 3+ years of use I’ve had one single serious problem after an update, that made me have to reinstall, some minor things helped with great support. It’s easy to say, that for me using this product on at least two sites has been very positive. Usually I complain a lot, not with this.
Check out also the other offerings from the same company, like Burst and Complianz. Totally professional products.

Today I saw that two plugins were automatically installed on my site!!!
I checked and found the Really Simple SSL plugin
Without any permission
He has installed two paid plugins of his products on my site.
This is a violation of privacy.
I ask people not to install plugins that violate users’ privacy
And I warn the great WordPress community to remove this plugin as soon as possible.
This extension goes in the direction of dirty financial policy
And he doesn’t think about the correct service at all.
He tries to get financial resources in any way
Even with the destruction of users

Using for a while without any issues.
