First of all love the plugin, it’s really useful.

I’m having one minor problem though, it seems the plugin is using the server time to determine date/time and from that if events are current or past.

Problem is I live in Australia, with US hosting, so time difference is 15+ hours.

I’ve set my timezone in wordpress to be UTC+10 but it doesn’t look like that affects this plugin.

Any edits I can make that will set the default timezone to UTC+10 in the plugin?

Hi!

I really love your plugin, using it a lot! But I have one question about it, a little problem that occured the other day.

So, I’m the admin of the WordPress site and I have a few users who have the Editor role. Probably they can’t see the Events section in the WordPress backend… Is this normal or did I do something wrong?

Is there a way to set the past event end date to be ‘today’?

Events are ordered by year so previous years are no problem but for the current year I am changing the end date regularly so that past events include all up to todays date.

For example, this is the code I am using:

<h2 class=”hc_header”>Past Events</h2>
<h3 class=”hc_header”>2014</h3>
[hc_rse_events showevents=’daterange-reverse’ startdate=’2014-01-01′ enddate=’2014-08-11′]

Would be great if you could do something like this:

[hc_rse_events showevents=’daterange-reverse’ startdate=’2014-01-01′ enddate=’today’]

I have different upcoming events showing in different browsers. In some it shows all the upcoming events as listed in the plugin admin screen correctly but in others it shows only a couple of the events.

The short code I am using is: [hc_rse_events showevents=upcoming]

It is as though the content has been cached but i can’t find a way to fix it – any help greatly appreciated. Have tried the obvious – clearing caches etc.

hi,
your widget is great and has been working well.

however on a friends windows machine using the latest version of IE the ‘More Information” links would not open.

Seems to be ok on older versions tested unto version 9.

i think it may be a JS issue since another widget also is not working correctly.

Hello!

I’d really like to customise the way the dates show up on the sidebar widget… specifically, would like to remove the list bullet points immediately, and maybe at some point add a divider image between each date.

Can anyone help me with removing the bullet points from the display? I’m not sure which file I need to be editing in order to do this.

Hey,
Im sorry im a noob, the other forumquestions didn’t help me.
I want to change some things to the main eventstable;
i would like to change the color of the borders, and add more space between the borders and the text. Furthermore i would like to show a difference between past events and future event for examble by make the letters bold or use a different color. I used the advice in other topics but those won’t work.

(i use the responsive theme and the childtheme of it)

I have a problem with the design of the table. I run some sites with the Genesis Framework from Studiopress. In all of this sites, the table with the events doesn’t look nice.

Here’s an example.
It seems like the table is all to narrow, and the cells are to high, so that the text doesn’t seems to be in one line.

I’ve tried to add some of the tags to the themes CSS file, but it doesn’t change anything.

I would like to have a look something like this one.

When you have your Windows taskbar docked at either the top or the bottom of the screen and you are trying to select the date when adding new events, the top of the calendar is hiding behind the WordPress admin bar. If you move your taskbar to either the left or right side of the screen instead, the calendar drops down. Otherwise it goes up and is blocked.

My only issue is that after you view the event info, then hide the event info – the text goes from saying “More info” to now reading “More infos”. Can this be addressed?

My admin is EN and my project’s public pages are in FR – but the plugin displays the admin section in FR and public pages in EN…

Really like this plugin for it’s simplicity to configure and ease for clients to use.

Can I request the addition of repeating events in the next version?
E.g. This events repeats every 1st Sunday of every month or every other month or every Friday of every week, etc.
