Cloud-based text-to-speech services often impose limits on the size of content that can be processed in a single request. For example, Google Text-to-Speech has a 5,000-byte limit per request.
Starting with version 1.12, the Real Voice plugin automatically splits content that exceeds this limit by sending multiple requests to the TTS service. The resulting audio files are then concatenated on the front end using JavaScript.
The separators used to split the content can be customized using the options available in the Advanced -> Segmented TTS Processing section.
