As soon as I activate the plugin I have this problem.
I would like to sort the stored terms of product attributes because the order is suddenly mixed up.
I go to attributes, for example “Farbe”. Custom sorting is selected.
Then I go to the stored terms. The sorting is not as desired. I sort the terms using drag and drop, it will briefly show that it is being saved.
However, after reloading the order is reset again.
I can rule out a cache plugin or something similar. I deactivated all plugins, including themes, individually in their own environment and clearly identified the source of the error in the Real Category Management plugin.
How to stop this behavior?
Is there perhaps a code snippet that can be used until corrected?

The plugin, after the last two updates, keeps giving, on all pages of the admin dashboard, the following error of a language library that fails to download:
“Some language packs could not be downloaded for the textdomain real-category-library (Error: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10000 milliseconds, Endpoint: https://ps.w.org/real-category-library-lite/ language-packs/it_IT-8b5cfa273ee6e12e802a4b13419f23e6.zip). ? Retry”
But if I try to download it manually, with the link “Retry” the file is available
What can be the problem?

And in backend, we set all custom taxonomy and their posts in desired order.
but when we use get_Terms or get_Terms_Taxonomy function and ordering is not working/followed.
Please let me know how to fix this?

I noticed that when i re-order categories by dragging, it says “Saving successfully recorded” but when i refresh the old order is back.
Is this a limitation of the free version? I think it used to work.

I’m runnign the PRO version of WP Real Category Management.
Yesterday, I completed a host migration. Afterwards, WPRC rendered the error mentioned above. I did deactivate both Wordfence and Litespeed, neither was resolved the issue.
The host is also trying to help me sort the issue but we’re struggling to fix it. I tried the .htaccess rewrite as well without success. As well as logging out and back in.
Could you please advise?
]]>Clicked on multi-direction button to re-arrange categories, page refreshed to new window showing “Back” button. Made required category changes, now can’t get back to main menu after clicking on “Back”! Page only re-freshes after clicking.
Have tried Ctrl+F5 several times, deactivating/reactivating plugin.
Have tried on local server, getting the same problem. Tried on Chrome + FF.
Please advise…

Thank you for this plugin, it looks really promising. I just installed it and noticed that it completely re-arranged all my Categories. I have bout 800 of them. The base Categories are only about 10 though. How do I get back my alphabetical order? Also, if I sort on Name it flattens the list, but this is perhaps WP standard? Didn’t have to do this until now when my Categories ended up non-alphabetical. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong? I am not using WooCommerce btw.

]]>I have cause to rearrange and even change some of the categories and tags. I can physically rename the categories from the admin panel and I am wondering if that will require me to edit the categories and tags on each of the posts I have already published?
Will updating the category name also change the category of the post that named category also?

is there a way to enable the Real Category Manager also for pages?
I am using categories also for the pages in our WordPress-based Intranet, and this would give me a huge advantage for manageing all the categories.
