1st plugin in this niche that I’ve tried, and love it! Except ..
.. it would be even better if we could customize the colors and other typical css features from our WP backend. Now I have to mess about with custom code again to make it look the way I want it. Hence the 4-star rating.

Great Plugin.

Works well. However to start with there wasn’t sufficient space between the reading time, e.g. ‘Reading Time: 5 minutes’ and my first sentence.
To resolve this I simply went into the settings and added ‘<b>Reading Time:</b>’ to the ‘Reading time label’ and ‘minutes<p>’ to the ‘Reading time postfix’.
This added sufficient vertical space and also bolded the word “Reading Time”.

But how i can disable this in the page ?

If your posts are entirely written in Cyrillic, the plugin does not work. Always stating “Reading time: 1 minute”

I used to use another plugin for reading time that kept breaking. This one is super clean and simple. Just the trick.

Working perfect for my site while using the shortcode.
Thanks for coding!

UPDATE: Developer was quick to push a fix for the flaw mentioned. Now you’d be just silly to go without this plugin on your site.

This is a neat plugin with lots of potential for it’s simple task. I like it better than the other options out there that accomplish the same thing.
The main issue is if you use <–more–> tags it estimates just based on that excerpt. So, for instance, on the main page of my blog it looks like the reading time for every post is <1 minute.
With that issue solved, this would be a home run plugin.
