Many thanks to the author of this plugin. Initially, it did not work and gave an error message. Cause: You have to omit the inverted commas in the URL.

What a great resource. And nicely implemented.
I only wish the info box and table of contents could be set to not display on mobile devices. They don’t format properly, so aren’t really an option to use. Perhaps in a premium version?
Otherwise, perfect!

Works perfectly. Just have to enter the URL of the Wikipedia article you want. I love how it has the feature to let visitors stay on your website. When you link to the article just use the wiki_links argument and set it to overwrite. When you do that any links in the embedded Wikipedia article will load on your site on that embedded page.

Hi, great idea for this plugin, but it is not working in my case, I’m using WP version 4.8.2 with plugins: bbpress, custom sidebars and RDP wiki. The blog use the default WP theme that come with installation.
I tried so far embed content in a post and page but the WP stops loading content when rendering the post or page, it breaks here in this tag –> <div class=”entry-content”>
Any idea?
thanks.

I have been testing this plugin to provide Wikipedia Resources at my blackjack information site at BlackjackReview.com . Works great… for the most part.
One issue I noted was the embedded content does not handle Wikipedia’s “cite_ref” tag which points to references at the bottom of the page.

Thanks Robert for this great plugin.
What makes it cool is allowing the TOC, Info box and title to be optional.
I previously used embedly for wiki pages but this is way much better. ??

Quite useful for my group as we keep documentation in a wiki but have a blog as our public face. Thanks!
