Although if you have the perfectly corrected and formatted html, save it offline in case an accidently trip through the visual editor destroys your carefully laid out code. (or get the pro version)

Just installed this and has no effect when using the WordPress Code Editor, items between the raw tags still get reformatted by wordpress.

Having detailed and fine control of my pages, and layouts, is important to me. Being able to add in-line CSS and embedded style sections is just what I am looking for. Second guessing WP Theme or interface behavior is done away with for me by using this plugin. Thanks for this.

He, I saved a small excel table in (one) html file. When I open this file it looks exactly same as in excel. When I put content of this html file in a WP page (with [raw], and don’t open it in visual editor) and open it in a browser, then it looks differently.

I highly recommend buying the pro version, it was worth it. I ran into a bit of trouble when making “read more” links on blog posts, but Janis took the time to personally look into my situation, and figured out what i was doing wrong.

All mistakes cleared up- works great! Thx again.

Thank you! So simple. Wrap your inline SVG code in the [raw] [/raw] shortcodes and away you go. I spent ages trying to find out why my SVG wasn’t working, and this solves the problem so simply.

P.S. Unless you buy the pro version, still DO NOT switch from text editor to visual editor, or you code will vanish in the same was as without this plugin!

It may not be so easy to realise what this pluggy is doing, especially when you’re new to WP but then it’s very usefull. Helped me to getting rid of some broken p tags WP added for some reason and made some mess on my page.

not only does it not disable autoformatting, anything between either style of the raw tags just shows up as <img src="RAWBLOCK0" alt="" border="0">

I’m importing a bunch of old posts that have manually-wrapped line lengths, and I thought I was going to have to search & replace the hard returns out of each post. Nope–checking “Disable automatic paragraphs” does the trick (since I’m going into each post anyway because they need tag and category cleanup).

Not working.
Whether you put your code within the short code or supposedly disable wp formatting from post’s check box, still After saving and seeing your changes applied and leaving, you will not find your code when go back to the post.
Which was exactly the case before installing this plug-in.
And If you tell me to disable the visual editor to use this plug-in, this proves that it is useless.

I love this plugin. I was going crazy switching between the visual and text editor and having WP strip away my HTML. Seriously… I had to have a notepad open with my HTML so that after going to Visual Mode to use a shortcode or something I had to repaste all the HTML.

This solved it quickly and easily.

I’m only having success with the [raw]…[/raw] combo. No luck at all with the check box interface it puts on the editing page.

Either way – I’m a happy camper.

I needed a way to display a page that was almost entirely based on JavaScript, and my theme offered no support for this. I had just about given up on finding a solution when I stumbled across Raw HTML.

I’m happy to report that it works like a charm, with zero configuration or fuss on my part. Brilliant!

And when checking the profile of Janis Elsts, I see that she is also the author of the very useful plugin Broken Link Checker! Nice work, Janis! Thank you!!
