Works fine. Cute little plugin actually.
Works only .jpg and .gif files in a server directory, so I’ve modified it to work with png and jpeg as well.

Works. Note: You must change the directory location to random-image-widget, or use a different directory.
Would be nice if we could specify a separate URL for each image that is loaded. It is not the most helpful when each image links to the same location.
Still uses a lot of deprecated code in the plugin, so be careful.

Simple plugin that does one thing only and does it well. Hasn’t been updated in years, yet still works flawlessly.
