Unfortunately, as a free plugin, you can’t do anything with it, you have to pay $39.50, and the price on the website is misleading because it’s always listed as $79, with the promotion lasting all year long, it’s cheating people by misleading them into thinking that they have to buy it now suddenly, otherwise the promotion will disappear, if the creator practices such tactics, you may doubt how this plugin works, I’m fed up with such liars, put a real price on the website and stop lying to your customers

RafflePress ist ein einfach zu bedienendes Plugin, womit man gut seine Followerzahlen und Interaktionen erh?hen und auch Gewinnspiele durchführen kann. Wenn man auf zwei, drei Kleinigkeiten achtet, l?uft das ganze auch gut datenschutzkonform ab. Au?erdem haben sie einen Zufallsgenerator, den dann zuf?llig einen Gewinner zieht. Sowas dokumentiere ich per Video, damit ich sp?ter sagen/zeigen kann, dass alles gepasst hat.
Gibt sonst derzeit nichts vergleichbares für WordPress, also sehr gut.

I don’t believe all plugins should be free, quite the opposite in fact. Devs should get paid for their time.
RafflePress takes this to the extreme though. No trial period, the paid version (for $32) is simply a placeholder plugin which lacks key features and merely serves as a sales magnet to encourage you to upgrade further.
Whatsmore, it appears Facebook blocks shares coming from this plugin and the tweet functionality is too complicated for the average user.
I’ve asked for a refund. I’ll be using another comprehensive alternative plugin instead. One that isn’t designed to simply milk me for cash.

Nonfunctional plugin. This plugin only purpose is to serve as an advertisement for their premium plugin and doesn’t actually do anything by itself every significant or useful feature is locked away. I don’t think a single positive review on the WP repository is actually reviewing the version on the WP repository.
Likewise, the marketing and pricing for their paid plugins are all highly deceptive. From advertised prices that balloon upon renewal, shady upsells and discount programs that aren’t actually discounts, and a heavily incentivized affiliate program that encourages even more shady and deceptive practices from their affiliate marketing partners.
I would avoid this company and plugin on principle over all these shady marketing shenanigans. As a fellow entrepreneur looking for ways to grow my own business I respect the hustle, but their practices border on unethical.

It is functional for the most part but when you have to fight to even change text and use hacks to alter default login button text or ways to enter or to move the header image above entry details content then surely something is lacking.

We use Rafflepress Pro all the time and it does not disappoint! We have increased our sales and customer engagement substantially after finding this plugin. Yes, the free plugin is definitely limited but the upgrade is worth the cost. Thank you for the outstanding plugin!

I bought a ‘plus’ licence but seems I couldn’t actually do much with it even though it was a paid for version. Everything I clicked was asking me to upgrade to access features, total nightmare. Found it difficult to use and not straightforward to just make a simple giveaway. Would not recommend.

Another completely shocking upsell of a plugin. My issue of removing their branding after paying was resolved, but be warned that services are dissected quite a bit, leading to some seemingly basic functions being paywalled.

I run blog giveaways all the time and am very adept at using Rafflecopter (a web-based competitor with a very similar set-up). I loved the idea of this plug-in as you can run your giveaway from inside WordPress rather than having to switch back and forth to an outside website. I just set up a giveaway and tried it on different browsers and my phone and the entry page isn’t displaying correctly at al – I can’t see all the ways to enter my giveaway, can’t click on one that I can see, can’t scroll. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but entering should be easy.
I’m using a paid account and if support can’t help me get this to work, I am going to use the 14 day money back guarantee.

Using the paid version. Followed directions to connect to MailChimp but the app does not add entries to the MailChimp list. This was the only reason we needed this plugin. Will most likely get a refund and go with King Sumo instead.
