The switcher doesnot change the wordpress language !!

I previously used a plugin called “English WordPress Admin” to be able to use english on my dashboard without changing my site’s language. This plugin always worked in a somehow erratic way, but recently for some reason it stopped working at all.
Luckily I found this one. Seeing it hasn’t been updated in 2 years, I feared it wouldn’t work either… but it does work and it does so flawlessly. In fact, it even shows the top toolbar in english (the customise/stats/etc. that appear when seeing the blog as admin).
It has some extra options that I don’t really need. It does what I need, and I’m really grateful for it because I don’t understand WordPress options in other languages, but I must keep the blog in the users’ language. Thanks!!!

It was not updated for over a year, but it still works flawlessly (tested with CZECH, ENGLISH, SLOVAK). However the plugin itself has a typo in one freaking UI element it has, makes me question it a little.

It did the job, just wished the author would be more responsive in the support forums. Keep up the good work!

Sometimes it is necessary to have the backend translated but not the posts etc – this does the job and in a simple way which doesn’t appear to break other plugins.
However, I have taken off a star for the following:
* Dashboard ‘langauge’ in the toolbar has a typo – should read ‘language’
* Can’t see the point if ‘Dashboard Language’ isn’t itself translated into the language that is selected. Just having it in French doesn’t really cut it.
A couple more because there are issues…

This is debug:
Notice: Undefined index: vi in .../wp-content/plugins/r3df-dashboard-language-switcher/r3df-dashboard-language-switcher.php on line 476
It works fine but the name in Vietnamese language (Installed) does not show and instead by -n.a-
Can some one help to fix it???

Have it working in 4.2.2. Hope development keeps up. Can’t believe this isn’t built in to WordPress.
Allows users to change the Dashboard language to their preference.
