I had the free version for years and just upgraded to the platinum version and could not be happier.
This is the best plugin for a fast and good-looking way to collect any dollar amount the customer chooses to pay.

This plugin, immediately just after the installation, asks the permit to collect a lot of information about the website and the users.
I refused and than it crashed my website.

I had to rename the plugin folder by FTP to restore my WordPress and then immediately delete this plugin.

Such a shame that this plugin does not work on my Enfold/Themeforest based website.

Bundles of bugs make it unusable and the developer hardly responds to the clients’ worries (I did get the Pro version).
I say “hardly” because I had to insist before he took action and did a patch to correct one bug. And that took almost a year!

But now it is riddled with bugs and I have completely lost trust in the plugin.
I have found another extension that works fine (and the devs respond to a query within 48hrs).

So IF you get this plugin, and IF it works for you, consider yourself lucky and enjoy.
But if it bugs…

This plugin would ba awesome if it was NOT riddled with bugs AND had a decent support from its creator.

At first, it had a minor bug and it took some insisting (almost a year of it!) to get it corrected.
Then, after WordPress’ updates, the plugin just did not work any longer and… support remains silent.

I have no idea if my WordPress theme (Enfold/Themeforest) or other plugins are the cause of Quick PayPal Payments’ numerous malfunctions but if plugins behaved like this and their developers did not care, WordPress would be in serious danger!

I searched a lot for wordpress paypal plugins. Most were bulky and not meeting all my needs. I was building a website for a non-profit and needed to accept donations online with paypal, with pre-defined or custom amount. Sounds a simple need but lot of paypal plugins did not have this feature. I landed on this plugin and just fell in love with it!

Very easy to set up. Great customization of the form and its styles. Amazing support from Graham who wrote this plugin! And a very affordable and deserving price. What else do you want in a plugin?

This plugins works great. The configuration is a little unusual, but that’s what makes it different from the countless other PayPal plugins. It is also why it has a unique feature set that made it the right choice for my project.

I had a problem understanding a detail with config, but thanks to excellent support, problem solved. I also ran into a problem with PHP7.1, and received another quick response from support.

I highly recommend Quick Paypal Payments.

Very promising plugin, but it keeps generating 404 errors as it attempts to access a file within it’s own plugin directory that does not exist. Support sent through a modified plugin that fixed the problem, but that plugin fails security software scans. A bit too worrying for me.

I tried to submit a support ticket, but your ticket system is completely offline.

We’re Running WP 4.5.7. I’ve added two custom Personal Information Fields in the form settings. I noticed the note that says “The information will be collected and saved and passed to PayPal……they may have to fill in the information again when they get to PayPal”, however, PayPal no longer shows this information (the custom information fields) when customers are redirected to PayPal to complete the payment.

This is a serious problem for us, and I hope there is a solution for this. I suspect that maybe PayPal’s recent interface changes may have something to do with it, I don’t know. But we definitely need this to work.

I noticed that the plugin hasn’t been updated in some time, and wondering if you may need to update the plugin to work with the current PayPal system.

I hope you haven’t abandoned the plugin, and that you can get back to me and let me know what we can possibly do to get this functioning properly.

We have a tax office and are just getting started taking payments on our website. We looked at different payment options, each becoming more complicated than we needed.

We do not need a shopping cart, nor an integrated invoicing system (which would only be a duplication of efforts, as we use QuickBooks), just the ability for our clients to make their payments by visiting our website.

PayPal standard/express seemed to be the answer, as we did not want to incur any monthly charges for a merchant account and a payment gateway.

We looked at over a dozen of the PayPal plugins, but giving the clients the opportunity to enter their own amounts was not an option for most of them. We also looked at donation plugins, but most of them would require too much customization for our needs.

Then we found Quick PayPal Payments. No, at first it wasn’t perfect for our needs, but it had simplicity and was not going to be difficult to customize it for our website.

As we set it up and tested it, we had a few issues with getting it to do what it claimed to do. So, we took the next step, we left the developers a support request.

Within 24 hours, we were contacted by the developer, Graham, who not only answered all of our questions, but actually asked what we needed to make this work better for us.

Once the functional issues were resolved, with Graham responding to us over 2-3 days (ok, he’s in the UK and we are in Florida, so there’s a bit of a time difference), we gave him a “Wish List” of things that would make it ideal. Guess what? He came through with those items!

The program is capable of sending the buyer a confirmation email, either before the PayPal payment is complete, or after, using PayPal’s IPN (Instant Payment Notification). Graham worked with us and customized his shortcodes to include every item you could imagine to be included in the Auto Responder email.
Such items as:
[firstname] The registrants first name if you are using the personal details option.
[name] The registrants first and last name if you are using the personal details option.
[reference] The name of the item being purchased
[amount] The total amount to be paid without the currency symbol
[fullamount] The total amount to be paid with currency symbol
[quantity] The number of items purchased
[option] The option selected
[stock] The stock, SKU or item number
[details] The payment information (reference, quantity, options, stock number, amount)

So, as you can read from my enthusiasm, I highly recommend this plugin. The support that the developer, Graham, has given is truly world-class. Five stars!

When I first installed the plugin there were a couple of issues but aerin was quick to respond and fix them. I picked this plugin because you can have multiple payment forms on one site. For instance, I needed a donation form and a form to pay dues. Some other plugins only allow one form. Also I really like the slider for the choosing payment amount.

Plugin wonderful. before I tried everything, even the variables PayPal. Well there is not another plugin to enter desired amount and then the coupon; PayPal even have written that are not yet equipped to make a variable that inserts the price from the customer and then calculations also the coupon. Just want to thank you….

I’ve been through the last 4 days about 20 different Event/Calendar plugins, and they ALL were missing something or didn’t do things right.

– You have a good formated Calendar
– Good event listing design
– You have Event Registration and Pay ability (still have to test this)
– You utilize WordPresses CATEGORY’s…. so posted events show in not just the Event calendar, but in your selected category’s, such as in your blog, etc. This ability was pissing me off that it wasn’t in other plugins, something that I thought would be common sense obvious to do so people know what’s going on.

Thank you thank you thank you…. for this plugin.

p.s. Yoast WordPress SEO is buggy with your plugin, causes the calendar to not show, had to put on another page. Also, I wasn’t able to create parent/child pages using “event” as the root (which is what your plugin uses), I would get 404 errors when trying to go to like event/calendar/. Other than that, so far, I’m so happy.

This is just what I was looking for and it works great.
