Hi,
As of this morning, our customers are getting a ‘Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later’ message when taken to the Paypal Checkout page to send payment. (I use your plugin in a number of sites, and it is the same with all of them.)
I have your Premium version, but can’t see how to ask for support, so posting here!
]]>Hi. I keep getting the following error with QPP. It only does it when logged in admin mode.
Uncaught TypeError: $(…).val() is undefined
validateInputs https://diyshuttersandblinds.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/quick-paypal-payments/ui/admin/js/admin.js?ver=5.7.43:53
I’ve had it for a while but now it seems to have broken the block editor js functions. Lots of react.js errors.
Any ideas?
]]>I followed the steps and sent a payment, but i never got the IPN message from paypal, even though paypal said the handshake was verified, i saw nothing in the plugin.
]]>We’ve got a problem where selecting any Reference option other than the first one fails validation and throws an “Oops, got a problem here” error. I’ve tested changing from Dropdown to Radio, and the same problem occurs. I’ve also swapped out our options to alphanumeric options only (no special characters), and the same problem occurs. If you select the default Reference, the donation process proceeds. If you select any other Reference option, you get the error. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?
]]>Will this work with wp-multisite?
]]>Hi I am having an issue where the donation form using the Quick Paypal Payment plugin is not accepting custom amounts as inputs. All the amounts provided work and take the user to paypal directly however when the user selects custom amount and inputs a custom amount, an error pops up that I should check the payment details. The plugin use to work up until 5 days ago when someone brought it up. I am thinking do I have to uninstall the plugin or is there a fix?
Thank you in advance for any input!
]]>We are seeing multiple error / warning messages in the admin interface for our form on the Form Settings page as below. Why are these “undefined”?

Furthermore our form on the website doesnt submit. When you press the submit button the button label changes to ‘processing’ but then nothing happens. Unsure if its related to the above error messages.
See screenshots here (incase it helps more):

We are getting the following error message on our site since upgrading to the latest version of the plugin:
Warning: Undefined variable $border in XXXX—quick-paypal-payments/legacy/quick-paypal-payments.php?on line?2752
How do we resolve this issue?
]]>I’m in the process of redeveloping a site that previously used this plugin, and the client would like to carry it over to the new site. After installation in the new site, I received the error below in the Appearance > Widgets area. When this plugin is deactivated, the error goes away.
Notice: Function wp_enqueue_script() was called incorrectly. “wp-editor” script should not be enqueued together with the new widgets editor (wp-edit-widgets or wp-customize-widgets).
Any thoughts?
]]>Recently this has stopped working for our website. For some reason it wont transfer to paypal, it will just say waiting for paypal once you click make payment.
also peculiar is it displays that message at the bottom from the beginning before inputting anything.
]]>I made a mistake in the name and registered email address, when I go to the form I see the details and there is an edit button, but I cannot change anything.
What have I done wrong?
Regards
]]>Since updating to 5.7.26, our payment form is no longer working.
When trying to submit payment details, neither the payment details option (choosing a payment type), or the terms and conditions tickbox work. Both are highlighted in red as having an error on clicking the ‘make payment’ button.
The payment does appear in the payments list in WordPress, but the user is not actually taken to Paypal.
Can you help?
Thanks!

Normally, with PayPal, you are able to check out without setting up a PayPal account. Essentially PayPal is the credit card processor for the purchaser whether or not they have a PayPal account.
With QPP forms this option does not show when the PayPal window pops up.
Is it possible for someone to pay with this plug-in without first setting up a PayPal account?
Thanks,
Paul Jeffries

]]>Hi all, We have a website where we are using Woocommerce PayPal Payments and Quick PayPal Payments.
When Quick PayPal Payments is activated, the Woocommerce PayPal buttons do not display and I can see the following error:
Uncaught Error: Attempted to load sdk version 5.0.313 on page, but window.paypal at version 4.0.336 already loaded.
When I deactivate Quick PayPal Payments, the Woocommerce buttons show fine.
Does anyone know what might be causing this conflict?
Thank you

]]>Hi – QPP works flawlessly for us but we encountered an odd problem…
A transaction went through – but the PP receipt is missing our order details (entered by customer) and handling charge.

Any thoughts?
Thank you,

The Reference Field has stopped appearing in the transaction details on Paypal.
It was appearing fine until a few days ago.
I’ve upgraded to the latest version of the plugin (premium version), but that hasn’t fixed it.
Can you help?
(I can find the reference in the Payments menu on WordPress, but it is much more useful to see it in Paypal.)
]]>Hello, I want to ask if in the free or Pro version I can connect with Paypal Business since for me it is important to be able to receive money with Paypal or with a Credit Card as Paypal offers it in business accounts.
]]>How do I receive the information submitted by the user via your form when they make a payment?
I have sent a test payment via the form, which worked fine. But the information submitted with the form (personal details, additional message, etc.) aren’t included with the confirmation from Paypal, and I didn’t receive a separate email with this information.
So how do I actually see this submitted information?
Thanks for your help,
John
]]>Hi Alan, I’m creating a new site and have just tried to install your plugin.
After clicking ‘skip’ for the updates and tracking/reporting bit I get the following error message…
There has been a critical error on this website.
After I disable the plugin via cPanel everything works normally again.
Please advise what the issue might be.
Thank you!
Would it be nice if there’s a filter when viewing transactions? Like transactions made through sandbox or production environments? In my case, I can see transactions whether one is from sandbox or production. There should also be a column named Environment so that one can know where this transaction went through.
]]>When you install this plugin it makes an offer of a free licence for the GOLD plan. I’m sure you want to know why.
Developing this plugin, and keeping up with changing technology of PayPal and also just technology changes ( WP versions, PHP 8 etc) requires a good amount of development work.
Version 6 of this plugin is still in development and will be for a good while longer.
This plugin has a good number of free users, but very very few of these users have upgraded to the premium version. Why? Because the plugin offers lots of free features anyway.
The only way to keep a free version is for the premium version to be attractive to more of you to actually part with cash ( when was the last time you actually donated to a free plugin?). To remain viable and attractive for some of you to pay for means ultimately moving some free functions to become paid functions.
I’m sure you understand this, after all you are taking money via PayPal, so you are some form of business in the broadest sense, and used to paying for services, after all you are paying away some 2.5% or more to PayPal every time you use it.
So that sounds like bad news. But not for you reading this now.
Because in preparation for the change you can obtain the GOLD premium version, which is exactly the same as FREE version as it stands today. This grandfathers your features, so you wont wake up one day and upgrade and find you no longer have a feature unless you pay.
So just to re-iterate GOLD = sames as Free today
But at a unspecified future date – Free will have less features than Silver or Gold
( You won’t find details of features on my website until the the development is complete and we are close to relaunch )
]]>When ever there is a ‘ in the form setting, option field it puts lots of backslashes but when its a ” it doesnt
Any advice?
]]>Hey,
I’m having trouble tying some payments together. With QPP I can set the customer to enter their email address before being taken to PayPal. However, when checking out with PayPal they sometimes use another email address that’s tied to a PayPal account. Because QPP doesn’t save TXN ID’s on the Payments Page I can’t cross reference payments between QPP and PayPal.
Am I missing something as the Payments page seems to be lacking detail such as the PayPal email address that was used for payment (not the one entered on the site by the customer) and the PayPal Transaction ID.
Thanks,
Chris
Hi all,
I am trying to have an email sent to a purchaser on PayPal IPN notification.
IPN works great but I can’t, when enabled in form settings, get the email field to display.
If I enable it and try to click ‘Pay’ I get the error that not all fields are filled in, even although the email one isn’t visible.
Can anyone offer help?
