When we have the plugin enabled it stops the query results from loop grids (elemenentor, and unlimited elements) from finding any results.

on the event overview page (admin screen, no end user problem), there is a possibility to search for events using the date with a drop down selector. There are 2 problems with that date selector:

1. It is not possible to select events in the future, i.e. the dropdown list contains only the months in the past and the current month, but no future months.
2. Even if I select a month in the past and apply the filter, the result list is wrong. The applied filter somehow reduces the list, but it does not behave as expected: I have a total of 102 events. If I sort the events by event date without any filter applied, I can see that 3 events were in May 2024. If I apply the date filter with May 2024, then the result list should contain exactly these 3 events, but it contains 88 events, past and future ones!

Hello, I really need to help. I have been using Quick Event Manager for many years, it has been a brilliant addition to the website. However, I removed it from my front page widgets etc as I was taking a bit of a sabbatical. Now, despite following the ‘how to add an event’ information, I just can’t remember how to get an event to display within the middle widget and the right hand side bar. Could someone give me some walk through step by step guidance please, I am completely lost! Thank you.

We are a small volunteer run judo club with not a massive amount of web design skill and no money in the pot to pay someone so a few years ago we set up our own website, weve been running the events on it since lockdown but now they are extreamly slow to register if they do at all, can someone please help me sort this out please so it gets quicker.

The title for the date of an event is not displayed in the format specified in the WordPress global settings.
Display is:

However, the following should be displayed:
Sonntag, 15. September 2024

I use the Virtue Theme and the following shortcode to display Posts and current QEM Events on my homepage: [kad_blog orderby=date items=4 fullpost=false cat=current]. The problem is, that QEM Events are triggered when they are created and not when they occur. Can that be changed? It means that I cannot show current upcoming events in the correct date order.

Clarification: the test bug occurs when Category ‘current’ is collected both from Posts and from QEM Events.

I have chosen the display setting “Show as tiled (Pinterest type)”. Is there any way to alter the code to display the full month name? Additionally, is there a way to add a comma between the day and year displayed via code?

For example, an event date currently displays as, “Jun?20 – 23?2024”

I’d appreciate some help with the following issue: in the event list on the right sidebar, the event titles are hyperlinks, but they lead to nirwana (i.e. they produce a 404 error). How can I set the target of the hyperlink to an existing page or post? I have tried to set a URL in the website field of the event, but this does not help…

Alternatively, can I disable the hyperlink?

All events no longer have an image. The image is still listed under Media. When I look in an event, the link from an image goes to (same link for all events)

domain.com/wp-content/plugins/quick-event-manager/legacy/images/image_error.png

There are a couple questions before purchasing.

Single event pages do not show responsive design on mobile devices. Does the Pro version have responsive design pages?

When entering a description via the backend, I can use bold, italic, etc. formatting . Is it possible to use similar formatting for front-end input? I tried it on your Demo version and there seems to be no formatting of inputs.

I’m using the FWRD theme from IronTemplates that has an integrated event set up. Unfortunately, this plugin is obviously conflicting as the Events creation option in Admin are for the FWRD implementation and not your wonderful plugin. It does not show on the Dashboard, either?

Is there any way to make this work? I am hoping for a clean and simple event page that my clients can update themselves and this looks wonderful!

We were able to register 7 people but since the last update the registration button shows no reaction anymore. We already reinstalled the complete plugin but same problem.

I am using QEM from years, everything was working perfectly, but after the WordPress and QEM updates. Newly created event’s registration not working even not loading data on Event Registration Report. First one from event page is not, others are working.

sorry to bother you once more, but I try to reduce the margin between the items in the event list, and between the lines for one event.

According to my understanding, this should be adjustable in the settings, tab styling, under Event Margin, and Margins and Padding (just above the category colors). But changing the values has no effect.

Also not working is font size and header size (but we found a solution for that in my prvious post, so this is not as important).

I have installed QEM on my test site to have a look…

I have included an event list in my sidebar, but I don’t like how the event title is displayed: the font size is way too large and does not fit to the overall layout, because it’s larger than the headline above the event list.

Is there a way to reduce the font size and also to remove the bold font?

I have already worked through various settings in QEM, including the percentage font size, but most of them seem to have no effect.

Does your plugin set any cookies for my website visitors (if I would integrate it)? If yes: which ones and of which category (functional, marketing, etc.)?

I need this information to comply to the GDPR, and the google cookies are the reason I want to abandon Google calendar, because I have to block it until the user accepts marketing cookies.

I’m fairly new to WP but getting the hang of it pretty quickly. The QEM free plugin seems to be just what I need for my site, but I’m having an issue that showed up on the forums here about 8 years ago and was never resolved.

I have a sidebar with the [qem] event list. It works well on all my pages, except when I go to any of the individual event pages. There, the event list in the sidebar refuses to show me any event titles, just the short description and times. The sidebar template part is the same, it’s just behaving differently on the single event page for some reason.

Theme is “Nook” if that helps, and everything is up to date.

I have entered registration cutoff dates which work well, but they do not show on the event page despite having ticked the option. Is this not available in the free version, and/or will it work with a bronze subscription?

It appears that the ‘Register’ button doesn’t respond under IOS 12 and earlier, both in the event pages and the Registration Settings page. This is a problem as many older ipads and iphones are unable to update to later versions of IOS and are stuck on 12. Does anyone know a work around?

I want to provide tranings in different topics and dates.

It shoud look like that:

Event XYZ
will be held on Date 1 (3 Days) – x€ per ticket
will be held on Date 2 (3 Days) – x€ per ticket
will be held on Date 3 (3 Days) – x€ per ticket

I want my customer to be able to pick the training and then the time period.

Each event has their own website and I dont need to show it a calender.

I have the option for the registration form to pre-fill if the person is logged in turned on. Is it possible to then prevent the user from modifying the prefilled in fields like name and address? Would it be possible to request an enhancement to the Quick Event Plugin if it’s not an option?

I use the category dropdown and I have 2 questions,
When you choose a category, it works fine, but when after that you choose “select a category”, no event are displayed, is it possible after selecting a category to get back to the listing of all event?
Id like to also use [qem category=’name’] to only list 1 category on some page but without the dropdown, is it possible?

On my home page I show posts from both WP posts and QEM events. My problem is that QEM posts are listed by the date they are created instead of the date they occur. How do I change this?

Is there a way to download a record of past calendar events? If so, how?

At the moment I have both normal posts and events using the same category.

I have the option ‘Show events in recent posts list’ in the settings Display tab unticked, yet the events still appear in the standard WordPress ‘Recent posts’ block when I try to display the normal posts with the same category. Is there away around this?

Alternatively, in the Event list when you have the category dropdown enabled is there a way to only show certain categories (so I can have other categories for normal posts but not have them showing)?

I am using the plugin for a while right now and love it. Today I implemented the calender [qemcalendar]. Customization worked well but there are two things I′d like to change:

1) The font size of the events shown in the calendar. It′s to small. How can I customize it?

2) The labels “next” and “previous” month. Is there any chance to have them showing the real month name. So if the actual month is february it would be cool if the “previous” shows January and the “next” shows March.

I must be missing an easy setting or something… today is February 1st. When you load my events page, it’s not on the January calendar, and my list of events is still listing activities from two days ago. Do I have the date wrong somewhere? I looked at settings…. PS. I just checked chrome… it works there, but not in firefox, edge or opera.

Hello, I hope that someone can help me. I want to display and then remove when needed the events list from the each page on my website, but I have lost how to do this. Is it done by deleting the ‘standard page side bar’ from the widgets? If so, can this be added back in again from the available widgets? Can someone help me please? I am not very website aware, so in as simple terms as possible please. Thank you.
