I use quick cache pro 150129.2.
I sometimes get errors as below.
How to solve errors?
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /www/eros-group.net/docs/erostest/wp/wp-content/plugins/quick-cache-pro/includes/share.php on line 1715
Catchable fatal error: Argument 3 passed to quick_cache\plugin::auto_clear_post_cache_transition() must be an instance of WP_Post, null given in /www/eros-group.net/docs/erostest/wp/wp-content/plugins/quick-cache-pro/quick-cache-pro.inc.php on line 1570
Please help me.

]]>Hello,
I installed the plugin into my site.
I enabled it and also added the `define(‘WP_CACHE’, TRUE); line into wp-config.php file.
However in GTMetrix i see a slight difference of 0.2 seconds whereas in Google Page Speed there is no any difference.
How can i increase the site speed?
Thank you

Hello, can you tell me which is the last version of Quick Cache which works with php 5.2.17?
Thanks.
]]>Hi there,
in one of my wordpress installations, which is installed in a subfolder of root (–> /html/subfolder), I get the following error message:
PHP Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/user1234/) in /var/www/user1234/html/subfolder/wp-content/plugins/quick-cache-pro/includes/share.php on line 1345
According to my webhost tech guy, Quick cache Pro tries to access /tmp, which is incorrect: It should use “/var/www/user1234/phptmp” instead.
In my other wordpress installation, which is on another account of the same webhost, wordpress is installed directly in root (/html) and does not give this error message.
Thought I’d let you know.

]]>I get the following error:
Failed to update your /wp-content/advanced-cache.php file. Most likely a permissions error. Please create an empty file here: /wp-content/advanced-cache.php (just an empty PHP file, with nothing in it); give it permissions 644 or higher (perhaps 666). Once you’ve done this, please try again.
My host won’t let me set this permission.
Can you please send a copy of the default advanced-cache.php file and I can upload it.
Will this still work?
Thanks,
John

]]>PRO Kill My Images and Theme Widgets
It began with error 503. Then noticed after upgrading to PRO on another site – my images and Custom Fields began to disappear form use and view.
Removed PRO and installed Lite and the problem resolved…..HOWEVER tons of my images have disappeared from listings and much of the Custom Fields deleted from existing listings.
How do I recover these? Have tried restoring db to no avail.
On one installation the entire site crashed and I have had to re-install WP. I will not be installing PRO until this bug is fixed.
Am thinking that the sitemap setting is the culprit. Have sent a ticket and know you respond well.
Your help would be very much appreciated?

I get the following error messages:
Warning: mkdir(): Permission denied in /home/mydomain/domains/mydomain.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/quick-cache/quick-cache.inc.php on line 2153

I have changed file permissions to 666 for the respective directories, but that doesn’t help.
Any help on this would be much appreciated!

]]>Hello, I’ve recently installed your plugin, and despite the huge increase in speed, I’m having some weird issues with it.
1st of all, I get 503 service unavailable errors while publishing posts, and this happens a couple of times a day, as I publish a lot of posts.
2nd of all, I got a blank page on some articles without any error or reason behind it all.
My server runs nginx and varnish, and the blank page error clears after a varnish clear, although the varnish cache is cleared after each published post.
ANy idea why I get these errors ? I’m thinking of buying the pro version, but I’m having second thoughts because of these errors.
Hi Guys,
I have scheduled post to be published on 6th, checked today (the 9th) and still not published. So went in the website’s backend and checked posts – scheduled one had a note ‘Missed Schedule’.
Any ideas? ??

When will CDN support be added?
]]>Hi there,
I’m really happy with Quick Cache. It improved my site speed very much. Thanx for developping!
I do have a question though. I have a page on my website that I want to exclude from caching (The GET request from a side bar just didn’t do the trick, and a daily quote now becomes a weekly quote since I have put the expiration time of quick cache to 7 days, LOL).
How can I apply the ?qcAC=0
code? I am using friendly permalinks and when I add the code to my permalink, wordpress changes it to ‘qcac0’…
Can you help me out? There is probably an easy solution?
]]>Hey, I am receiving this error within the title of pages
<!-- Quick Cache is not caching this page, because '$_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD']'is 'POST','PUT','DELETE','HEAD','OPTIONS','TRACE' or 'CONNECT'. These request methods should never (ever) be cached in any way. -->
The website loads via Ajax and appears when clicking from page to page but disappears if I refresh the page I am on.
What does this mean and how can I resolve it?
]]>Quick Cache ended up filling up my hard drive recently for some reason, using a whopping 22 gigabytes.
I’ve been using this plugin for years on my site and server and never had this problem before.
Also, when I click to clear the cache, it says it does, but all the files are still there, so I ended up having to manually delete them.
For reference, my cache expiration time is set to 2 hours and I believe everything else is just the stock settings.
Any ideas here?
]]>I’ve found that when I move from the admin pages to the home page I’ve been logged out. Is there a setting I can change to stop this from happening?
Slight change to that – oftentimes refreshing the page one time will show that I’m still logged in. I believe this was an issue with W3TC or another caching plugin and there was a way to stop this from happening, but I can recall. Any ideas?
]]>Hi,
A wonderful plugin. But I have two small issues.
1) I have activated quick cache. the cache time is of 7 days. All values are installation default except that I have enabled caching of querry strings as well. Now this small issue is, from my admin are if I add a new widget to my sidebar, it is visible from there, but if i open a seperate browser and access the site, the new widget is not available. I have to manually clear the cache, only then it becomes visible.
2) I normally work with Iconic One (Child) theme and TwentyTwelve (Child) theme. Also at times, I work with generate press theme as well. But if I view the page source, the quick cache caching info is displayed only in Iconic one theme, not on other themes that I have mentioned.
Why So???
]]>Hey guys, glad to see Quick Cache is getting full support again. I tried it years ago but made the switch to W3TC when QC was no longer supported. But W3TC has always been a mess and the upgrades were unpredictable. One thing I’d love to see added to your instructions are the expiration settings. You mention it but I needed the actual statements to paste into htaccess, as you provided to enable GZip. Found it here: https://thomasgriffin.io/how-to-leverage-browser-caching-in-wordpress-via-htaccess/. Made a nice improvement in my Pingdom results but I would like to know if you would change any of the settings.
Btw: Great price on the Pro version. Will test this a couple weeks and then do the upgrade. Thanks!

I was getting the following fatal error in my admin section when trying to add/edit pages:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted
I followed the suggestions in the following topics:
But the above did not solve my issue.
Then I started disabling the plugins and the issue was solved when I disabled the Quick Cache plugin.
I love your plugin since it takes care of the caching so easily. Could you please look into the issue and advice how can I start using this plugin again?
I am using Divi theme by Elegant themes.
Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for your response!
]]>I use Quick Cache with my Premium Press Theme and have discovered that the latest version stops my search form from working.
Please advise?
]]>This has been driving me insane all day today.
First, I had wp-supercache. It worked fine.
Then I decided to switch to wp-totalcache so it could make adrotate work.
wp-totalcache didnt work. It seems something broke.
I tried switching back to wp-supercahce. It did not work.
Now I am trying quickcache… still not working. Something fundemental with caching is broken.
When I go to my site at the domain name, it does not have the message at the end. When I go to my IP though, it has this note:
<!– Quick Cache is NOT caching this page, because Quick Cache detected an early output buffer termination. This may happen when a theme/plugin ends, cleans, or flushes all output buffers before reaching the PHP shutdown phase. It’s not always a bad thing. Sometimes it is necessary for a theme/plugin to do this. However, in this scenario it is NOT possible to cache the output; since Quick Cache is effectively disabled at runtime when this occurs. –>
Why is that on the ip and not the domain is anyones guess.
I use cloudflare, and it seems rocketloader could cause issues somehow, so I disabled that…. Then I tried disabbling cloudflare all-together… Still nothing.
I made sure wpcache is set to ‘true’ in wp-config.
In wp-supercache the debug info said there was no /html tag so not caching, not sure if that helps you.
I checked the /cache/ folder and after a bit of digging can find the sitemap file for my https site… and thats all.
Please help.

]]>Hi,
I think this plugin is awesome. Finally my site is fast, which I thought was impossible with WordPress, so I appreciate your excelent work guys.
I’m having a bit of a problem though. When I navigate to Buddypress pages, let’s say, members pages, the plugin caches the pages but apparently it just caches the first profile page I visit, and then, whenever I try to navigate to a different member page, it loads the cached page of the previous member that I just visited. This behavior happens with members as well as groups.
If I navigate while logged in the problem doesn’t happen since the cache is not used, so I’m almost sure the problem is in the plugin. Also, if I go directly to the cache folder and delete the members pages entries and navigate again or if I wipe the cache from Dashboard, the problem is solved the first time I navigate, then it happens again.
I hope this description makes sense and hope you guys can help me out with this, because I really want this plugin in my site.
Cheers,
Juan
Hi,
Not a huge issue but a bit annoying an im unsure how to fix it….
Since installing quick cache, everytime I now navigate around my dashboard, and click back on the “Dashboard” home button so I’m back on the front screen, I keep getting redirected to https://www.richardmillerphotography.co.uk/wp-admin/index.php
I keep having to remove the index.php from the URL bar.
Does anyone know if this is a QC issue and how to fix it?
Thanks
]]>Hi there,
I seem to be having problems with a new site, where two plugins make use of wp-cron.php. Unfortunately, I am not really understanding the whole wp-cron.php / cronjob issue (yet), but I read that caching plugins can cause or at least contribute to problems in this area.
Now I am in no way saying that Quick Cache causes my wp-cron.php problems, but I am asking: When one is having wp-cron.php issues, how can one configure Quick Cache to make sure it is not the cause of these issues?
Thanks so much for your great plugin and please also read my post #4 in the my review of your plugin.
