If anyone needs to find an alternative to this plugin (that disappeared for whatever reason), it’s basically an accessibility plugin that implements the same thing:

When it’s activated, it will show some sort of wheelchair icon on the site, simply deactivate the plugin when you’re done using it (idk how to hide it).

Is this plugin abandoned? It was “closed” for a “security issue” but I see the developer has been active since then.

This plugin has a much better UI for manual editing of alt text than any other I have found.

When I add alt tags to the images they are not displaying in the source code?

Hi, great plugin and much needed (I have thousands of alt texts to enter).

Unfortunately I have an issue which I cannot resolve after much searching.

Development site with Quick Alt Editor, WP 4.9.7, PHP 7.0.30, MariaDB 5.5.60, WP 4.9.7:
Everything works flawlessly, Media Library search included.

Live site at my hosting provider with Quick Alt Editor, WP 4.9.7, PHP 7.0.30, MySQL 10.1.30:
Alt column shows fine, alt entries can be changed.
BUT: when the plugin is activated, any Media Library search renders a 403:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/upload.php on this server.

Both sites are identical in Plugins and setup (copy on a dev server).

Any help would be much appreciated, as it’s driving me nuts ??

Great plugin, it would save a lot of time, fantastic idea.

My only problem is, when I reload the page all the information I have entered is lost!
The text is duplicated in several images and the languages are mixed.

How can I solve this problem?
It looks like the plugin is not saving the information correctly on the database.
