Can I automatically bring in the category of the question when I ask a question?

I would like to add this plugin to a members-only section of my website. There will be a login to the members-only section (via PaidMembership Pro) and then a second login for the Question Answer plugin. Is there a way to have Question Answer plugin use the login from PaidMembership Pro?

The Answer Author has no link to the author profile. How can that be corrected?

If there were a link, would it use the wordpress user profile, or is there supposed to be an author profile specific to this plugin? An answer author isn’t necessarily going to want to display the same profile as the wordpress profile, which would be for other purposes?

good plugin. I’m looking for a new one to use since AnsPress seems to be abandoned and your seem actually a bit better. One issue I have is I am unable to figure out how to disable new Answers once the Question has been marked as Solved (or Best Answer selected)?

Hello,

The dashboard has only one field for google’s recaptcha, but today’s recaptcha requires two keys : site key & secret key.

Also there are two links that are wrong : the link to recaptcha dashboard inside the plugin has no https:// which makes it point to local website. “please go (to) google.com/reCAPTCHA”.

And the link to the plugin homepage results in a 404 : https://www.pickplugins.com/item/question-answer/?ref=dashboard

I’ve translated the stable release into Taiwan chinese language. How can I have language pack download?

Steps to reproduce :

– Fill the form except one mandatory field.
– Have some formatted text in the Question details editor, such as italic.
– Try to submit, form is rejected as expected.
– The editor now has litteral HTML.
– Submitting again with filled mandatory field sends litteral HTML in the question.

On a particuliar site, when a question is asked, the redirection in settings (main page) isn’t followed, and it remains on “Ask question” page instead.

It also ruins the style on said page.

When a question is asked, the “Pending” status I ask in settings is not followed, and the question is published immediately.

This can be a problem with spammers.

1. I am brand new to this so please be easy on me. I have created a few questions from my admin panel. When I view them on the actual web page, they show as closed with a padlock next to it. You can still comment on them though. What am I doing wrong?

2. When a question is open and I click on “ask a question” it takes me back to archive. No window opens to ask a new question.

Hi there,

we have different moderators who are responsible for individual categories. They should also only receive notifications for new posts for their assigned category. Can this be set somewhere or do we need another plugin for this? Additionally we need another user group which has the same rights as the subscriber. Is there a solution for this, which you offer?

However, i can’t see my modification.
But it works when i edit the same file directly on the plug-in folder.

Is there any way your QnA plugin could work with your User Profile plugin? I can’t manage to have both tied together as QnA plugin lacks in the profile area and could benefit from the advantages of the other plugin. ??

I tested this plugin, looks simple, easy to use and well designed. But unfortunatelly could not use in my live site since it’s only in english (as far as I’ve seen). I wonder if we would be able to translate in the next versions?
