Recently i noticed my main page only has in its meta description the following 3 characters en] front of the real meta description I added.
Below I typed exact the meta description I have in admin panel.

]]>I validated my site and the validator states I have errors with my & characters in the meta-tags the plugin creates. Probably the other european languages will pop up with errors as well. Will look into that later.
Can you give us some advice, how qTranslate META handles the special characters? Or how to preserve them?

This plugin has not been updated since 2012… and looks like the developer is not maintaining it anymore.
Anyone tried it on WP 3.9, with Yoast plugin running ?

Hi,
since i activate Qtranslate Meta, i have this Notice which appears.
I can edit the metas while editing page, but when i rollover the Pages menu, it shows me that notice again.
When i click on Meta Summary page, i can’t edit pages, it send me to a 404 error.
I use Qtranslate 2.5.39

The plugin works fine in displaying the proper suffix wich in my case is is a vertical line |.
I can’t seem to add any space afterwards ie. page name | my site name
Instead it appears: page name |my site name
I tried adding   – it works for adding a space however Google picks it up and displays page name |  my site name.
Any other work around?

I discovered recently in your plugin the Multilingual META Summary Page, and when I saw the button allowing to download them as an excel sheet I was quite happy!
Sadly this button only generate an html page and not an excel sheet ??
Am I doing something wrong?
Also I am looking for a solution to import into WordPress an excel sheet containing all my meta titles and descriptions, do you know any solution allowing to do such thing? It would be a great feature for this plugin.

hi. i installed this plugin along with qtranslate, which is hugely useful to multi-language sites. the meta fields appear correctly in the backend, for all enabled languages, but checking in displayed pages or posts no meta tags are added. i can’t fix it. any hint to get the values from qtranslate meta fields and print them directly in header? many thanks.

I am using WP 3.4 and qtranslate as well as qtranslateMeta. Thanks for the plugin first.
Everything works fine, but not on the home page. No meta code coming up. Do you have any suggestion, what to do.
PS: I found some tricks which said to change the header.php. But my theme is working with the warp 6 framework, which doesn’t have a header.php in the theme folder.

I’am using qTranslate META 1.0.2, but when change the text in the description field (qtrans_meta:description) and update it the text in here it doesn’t update and gives me the old text. Already deleted the field and added it again, but then still the same text appears.
Like to hear if there is a way to solve this?

the <meta name=”keywords”> is broken. the keywords don’t show up in the header if you look at the page source.
wp version 3.4.2
would be nice if you could fix please. apart from the keywords not working, very useful qtranslate plug-in.

qtranslate itself automatically supports them, not so your plugin.
As I would prefer to stick to one single SEO plugin on my site, so I’d really prefer a solution for how to use this one.
Can you please tell which code should I hook and where in order to get this working? Add smth. to functions.php, theme files, etc.

I don’t use static pages, I use the basic setup of wordpress (what it’s meant for IMO) ..
is there any way to code the translated meta codes for the homepage?
It’s my personal site, so I don’t need variable meta tags, static will be fine for all the pages. I just want when people visit the “en” version of the site, the meta tags will also be english.
The reason that i’m posting this here, is that maybe I can link them to the variables of a post or something. So that I put them in for one post, and then get the variables from that one for the whole site.
I use qTranslate and have also installed qTranslate META. But the META plugin isn’t doing anything for me really .. because what I want it can’t even do ..

]]>First of all thanks for your cool job making this plugin. I’ve found a wrong link in the Page->Meta Summary view: pages titles are linked to
wp-admin/page.php?action=edit&post=x
while the correct path to wp page editing tool is
wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=x
Don’t know if it is a change introduced with 3.x WP version. In that case you should need to make a test against WP version and serve the correct link.
