Once I understood how to use the shortcode I was very surprised to find this plugin worked with this version of WordPress. I am using the Customizr theme, WordPress 4.7.3 and only a few other plugins. I needed to create a few QR codes and it worked perfectly. Wow, thanks.

I set up the plugin and everything worked fine. Then I just clicked a littlebit on the site an suddenly I was on a commercial qr-code generation site.
The qr-code is wrapped in a link. I did not find any hint about that in the documentation and the cursor is set from hand to arrow. It seams, that the author tries to smuggles some commercial on websites and so spreads his url. It is not very gentlemenlike.

I just wonder is it possible to let Chinese encoded in to QR Code?

Managed to get the page’s URL generated using this code – probably a horrible way of doing it!
