A very nice plugin! I hope it is still maintained…
Here are a few suggestions for thinks that would make it even better:
TWEET “SUFFIX” / Tweet Handle
Add an option to add a suffix to the tweet text, e.g. “via @twitterhandle”. This would mean that someone who tweets from the PushQuote would tweet the text: “this is the tweeted text via @twitterhandle”.
The way it works now is that you can put no twitter identification at all in the text. With this improvement one would get a twitter notification to the specified twitter handle when it is used.
STRIP FORMATTING
If there is some formatting in the Push Quote text then that is tweeted to. For example if there is bold text in the quote the tweet contains . It would be nice if the plugin stripped any tags.
It seems that the Share On Facebook function simply posts the link to the article to the Facebook page. It would be nice if it also included the actual quoted text in the Facebook post.
]]>PQ adds a nice visible element to a post/page (although I wish it were easy to change the PQ area background area).
More importnatly: when I go to share the PQ on Facebook, there is NO representation of the PQ at all. Here’s a screenshot of the situation: https://mmm20.org/images/PQ.png
I chose PQ because of the shareable nature. I’d love to have what the user sees on the page, be some replica of what is posted/tweeted. When I did a FB test post, it just read: “Facebook Link”.
Please advise.

Please help.
]]>no funciona en wordpress, 3.9.2, cuando le das al icono con la forma de bocadillo, no aparece nada, no funciona
]]>As of very recently (2-3 weeks at longest) it only works in Firefox, for me. Not working in Chrome or IE.
]]>I’ve installed the plugin, worked out how to get my bitly credentials and I see there is a button on the posts toolbar. There are no more instructions and the support questions here remain unanswered months down the line.
Do I select text before clicking the button, what is supposed to happen when the button is clicked, should the button insert code on the visual editor or the text editor or both, is there a shortcode workaround if the button doesn’t work? For me the button does nothing.
I’ve found that two months ago someone posted about the button not working with TimyMCE 4.0. No response was given. Normally I would investigate a possible conflict with another plugin or theme but it doesn’t seem worth bothering.

Hi,
I have recently upgraded to WordPress 3.9. However, since the upgrade I noticed the shortcode button in the TinyMCE is not working anymore. I suspect this has to do with the TinyMCE api update by WordPress, so it won’t correspond anymore with the plugin.
Is there by any chance a fix for this or can we expect an updated version of the plugin with a fix in it?
Thank you in advance!
]]>All Tweet/Share links are broken in the PushQuotes right now because tidbit.es appears to be down. Is this going to be an ongoing issue or is the site simply down temporarily? Thank you!
]]>Hi,
I added a “hidden” flag and changed the position from being stored as a class to being stored as a HTML data
attribute so it doesn’t interfere with e.g. .right
from theme frameworks like “25px”.
The plugin works great now and I like how RSS readers get the usual HTML without pullquotes + share buttons.
Since the code is GPL’ed I could simply put it up myself but maybe you’d prefer if we merged versions and coordinate changes.

]]>I really love your plugin. It fits like a glove on my site, but I never use third party url shorteners. Can you please tell me how to modify to stay long URL?
Thank you in advance. And kudos for the plugin – I rated 5 stars!
]]>How can I make it so that when readers tweet my quote, Pushquote automatically appends it with my twitter handle in their tweet?
]]>OK I give up, I have looked everywhere and cannot find a way to insert the Pushquote into a post. Is there a short code? There is no instruction on your download page other than to install and activate (which I did)
Sorry if its something obvious that I am missing, but I cannot find anything.
Looks like a great plugin. Thanks for posting it up!
