We have a tennis club. We currently send an email weekly advertising up coming events using our members emails. Then we manually copy the email contents to our WP website. Can we manually add this email list to PushEngage, and then write our up-coming events in the Posts section of our WP website and then use PushEngage to send them a message that a new post exists? We don’t want them to subscribe or unsubscribe.

New Version:?4.0.5 slow down post editing page and also causes issue for service-worker.js.php file
Please fix this issue so that we can continue using this plugin further.

Latest version 4.0.5 slows down the block editor screen considerably when plugin is active. Everything is fine with plugin inactive or after downgraded to 4.0.4.1.

I’m not seeing any specific errors in the console or logs.

I got the following error message when activate the Push Notification App. I did deactivated ALL plugin and activated 1 by 1 and finally proof that is caused by this plugin. Can you help?

The floating icons are handy, but when they start to be a lot they better be in the widgets.

Since I was only using the widget for searches and user login, it would be great to add the additional functionality into the widgets.

How can I add in Pushengage widgets?

I want disable popup but to have bell icon. Why Now I not see both?

the notifications that are sent all have the same title — that title is not the title of your post, it’s the title of your site.

and the actual content of your post is just ignored – it’s not sent in the notification.

presumably that can be changed by hacking the plugin.

Is there a way to disable the intermediate page completely, and just have a default ‘allow/nothanks’ box, at the top of the page instead?

I’m asking as it looks a bit of a mess on the chrome mobile browser.

The Push Notifications are not working when a new post is published and yes the small box is checked on the right side. It was working before but now nothing is going out. The current Version is 2.0. The push notification works when I first go to the website and I can subscribe for notifications.

Hello, I have PushEngage installed on my website. I linked it to my PushEngage account and I have set it fully up. When I visit my page it asks me if it can send notifications but it doesn’t send notifications when I allowed it to. It does this on every device. Also the subscription number isn’t chaning. It is still 0 subscribers.

I tried disabling and enabling it. And disabling my security plugins etc. I deleted and reinstalled the plugin. And made a new API Key

I hope you can help.

This option “Allow any post type to trigger a notification must mark “Send Notification” when publishing.” used to work for me. After updating to wordpress 5 it now only shows for the post type “Post”. I have installed the Plugin “Classic Editor” to disable Gutemberg and go back to classic editor, but even doing this, the PushEngage Checkbox still does not show for other post types any more.

Does This Plugin work On AMP Version Of A website?

In my case I want that the publisher for an old post can send the notification to specific segments but right now looking at the code this selector is hidden but available.
Can you change that?

Pushengage is no longer showing featured image thumbnails with the push notification. The last several that have gone through are blank.

Is there a way to globally disable the “Send PushEngage Notification on Update” checkbox by default?

Most of the writers on our site are non-technical, and I frequently need to update a post or page to fix formatting or other small errors. I’d like the sending of a notification to occur only on PUBLISH of the initial post — not every time I update it. Is this possible with a filter or hook? Or can it be added as an option?

But number 3 doesn’t match what’s shown on on my Google Developer Console. I don’t see a way to “enable” Google Cloud Message as part of my account.

The link on Google’s API library opens a new window with documentation but I don’t see an enable button anywhere.
