Can we control the plugin from pushing a notification automatically by default?
Our websites automatically create new posts every day and we don’t want to necessarily push a notification automatically every time.
It would nice to have an option in the settings to “send notification by default”.
]]>My website upgraded the pushwoosh plugin to version 2.3.16, but problem occurred when I push my new post, instead of sending message from the message box only the title of the post was sent (I have fill in and tick the message box). This problem didn’t happen when I was using version 2.3.14.
I notice there is a new column underneath the message box where “Filter name” is suppose to fill in. What is this “Filter name” mean?
I reverted back to version 2.3.14 but the plugin upgraded to the new version automatically. Is there anyway to prevent it from upgrade automatically?
]]>Hi,
I installed PushWoosh plugin, Created a test account to check it functionality. unfortunately I was unable to get/show any nofication on update of post/page. Kindly assist me as soon as and also tell me which id should be in “Application code” field on admin panel setting page of PushWoosh.
we will need the remote api after looking into it more. However, we are going to be implementing anonymous posts which let anonymous users create new posts, and we would like the plugin to fire a generic push message for any new post. since it will be deployed as a small user base app the number of messages would not be overwhelming. Does the plugin allow for automatic message generation and sending with ANY new post, or does the contributor have to have backend access to fill in the push message and select to send with any post submitted?
If it does not have this feature already, a great additional feature would be the ability to send a generic push when any new post is published, which would allow for front end posts to fire notifications without giving the contributors access to change or mess with whether or not a notification is fired, and what the content of that notification is.
Is this currently possible?
..also it would be great of the push could be configured to fire on specific post types or categories ext. I’m sure the user base would widen a lot from that added flexibility ??
]]>The plugin works great, but it would be really useful to have an option to automatically use the title of the post if no Message has been entered on the plugin.
I tried creating a post and just checking the “Send a push notification when the post is published” box but a push notification is not sent if no message text is entered manually.
Its not that big of a problem. It would just be nice to have that feature.
