I’ve been using this plugin and the companion plugin, Paid Membership Subscriptions, since early 2021 on a half dozen client sites. AS the stie developer, it takes very little effort to setup, is easy to adjust for my clients’ needs, takes no effort to maintain, and seldom causes me any issues. In the years I’ve been using it, I’ve had to reach out to support only a few times – some for help in accomplishing a weird client requirement, once or twice for an issue after an update. Support has responded quickly (they post their hours on the support request, and usually respond shortly after their day starts) and typically has a solution or fix in their initial reply.
Most of my clients using this plugin are retired volunteers and not very comfortable with using the internet. Usually, one walkthrough is all I need for them to be able to run reports, check member details, etc.
This plugin is particularly powerful when combined with their Paid Membership Subscriptions- also easy to use and maintain. I use the pro version, which has additional add-ons(though the free version has plenty) to customize some of the member facing part, integrate with other plugins, and basically create easy-to-use paid membership sites without extra coding. That includes things like membership mailings and store discounts. These two plugins are probably the best choice I’ve made for the sites I’ve built.

I’ve been using this plugin for a couple years now for multiple websites. It functions the way I needed it to. I’ve had multiple interactions with support and they always troubleshoot with courtesy and professionalism. They have always been able to find solutions. I am located in Canada, so the time difference to Europe poses a challenge at times, but as I mentioned, I can always rely on their support team. Highly recommend!

The plugin is very good.
I wish they could make some options easier to find like changing colors of the buttons on forms, rearranging form fields etc.
But overally it is a good plugin.

The user profile picture plugin solved a simple problem and was fantastic. Now they have merged it with lots of other features which are not what you want yet they add them and make your WordPress site heavier. Worse they continue to spam you with messages to upgrade to this new larger plugin with features you don’t want even after you click not interested. Next time you login the annoying message is there again. If I wanted a plugin with all those other features then I would have gone for it yet I didn’t and just wanted the profile picture plugin. I don’t want all the rest of the crap to overload my site. Stop spamming people.

I’ve been using Profile Builder Pro for a few weeks now and must say that it is a very intuitive and very well-written plugin that comes with a great support team. I’ve been able to build out a very complex user profile form with the mean native features & add-ons availabe in Profile Builder and it certainly helps that they have very thorough documentation. I am very happy with this plugin and highly recommend it.

with profile builder is this mutch easier and a better overview. the add-one stuff is also great!

I like the plugin but they put free features too much limited. For instance, even the login/logout menu is not included in Free version, we need to buy the pro. The should proivde this atleast in free.

This is an easy-to-use and convenient plugin.
I have used several similar plugins such as Ultimate Member and Simple WP Membership, but this one was the best for my requirements.

Long term user here! I’ve been running this plugin on a client site for nearly 5 years and it’s been fantastic. They have about 500 users and the plugin doesn’t miss a beat. It’s completely replaced any manual labour on the client’s side, and we only get a handful of end-user support requests per year. Non-tech admins don’t have any problems. On the few occasions I’ve had to contact support they’ve been quick, friendly, and solved my issues. Highly recommended ??
