i am trying to add a post list of products on the page like a shop page using wordpress bakery page builder. When I do it i can get the products to show but i would like the compare check mark or button to appear on beside the information. Is this possible with this plugin? Beyond that it pretty much is what i need.

Hi! I love the Product Compare plugin! Four concerns: On the comparison table, the Description row does not auto adjust for content height, nor does it display the full description and wrap the description. Also, is there supposed to be a filter bar of some kind. I see reference to it in the documentation, but I do see one on the page. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have set up this plugin on our staging site, and it is working correctly on the shop pages, but is not appearing on our product pages. This site was built using ACF and Elementor.

Is it possible to use a shortcode to get the button to appear on product pages? Or a script I can add that would generate this button for us? Any helpful advice or information is much appreciated!

I’m looking to replace the blank field on the compare table so if a certain product doenst share the same attribute it will show ‘N/A’ or ‘ – ‘ instead of a blank field.

Is anyone using the ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) plugin with the Products Compare by BeRocket plugin?

I have custom fields on products and the plan was to use Products compare to compare the products from the custom fields. The problem is that ACF has a group of fields (many fields + each product category has different custom fields) and the group doesn’t display with as many rows as the ACF group has of custom fields, instead the compare table displays all of the fields from the ACF group squeezed together into one row. For example, what should be let’s say 20 rows from ACF group is displayed in one row and therefore almost all of the information is missing (since there isn’t space for everything from the 20 rows).

Does anyone know of any way to display the custom fields properly in the Products Compare app by BeRocket?

I am using plugin – Products Compare for WooCommerce for comparing products attributes but I want to enable ajax and the comparison table should load on the same page below the products once the products for comparison are selected. There should be no any popup or redirect to any other page. I just want to select the products are then the comparison table loads or show on the same page. However, this option is enabled from the plugin settings but seems it is not working. Can you please take a look on it?

Is there a way to customise the order of the attributes that i list on the comapre page or pop up?

We noticed some issues with this plugin when we upgraded to Php 8.2
When you select products to compare the comparsion table loads immediately. Before you could select all products you want to compare, and then press Compare to view the comparison page/table.

I noticed though that this plugin hasn’t been updated in more than 11 months, so the question is if it’s still being maintained?

As you might know, WooCommerce just released HPOS (https://woocommerce.com/de-de/document/high-performance-order-storage/) as a feature you can enable on your site, when all used plugins are compatible. Sadly, at the moment “Products Compare for WooCommerce” is not compatible (yet) which prevents me from enabling HPOS on a site where I would like to use it.

Do you have any timeline for how soon the plugin will be HPOS compatible?

I think the title says it itself. How do I get the counter of the products (number) that have been added to the comparison list??

The thing is, I want to display the counter in my header.php so that users could see how many products they added to their comparison list.

Is there any shortcode or a function for this one?

I have tried overwriting /templates/new-compare.php by copying it to a /woocommerce-compare-products/ folder inside of my child theme, however it is not working. Any changes I make to the file do not change on the front end.

To test I editing the /templates/new-compare.php in the core plugin files and works fine — I think it’s an issue with the plugin code not correctly picking up the child theme file? Can you assist?

We are having an issue with translating the compare pop-up content. It was working at the beginning, but now for all new sessions and users, it always shows the content in English, regardless of whether the french language was selected or not.

We are using WPML to translate product info, taxonomy and strings. It was working as I mentioned, which means translations picked-up.

Maybe you have some advanced caching? Please let me know if there is a way to show compare dialog for any language.

The class BeRocket_Compare_Products->get_compare_button() which is for generating a button generates this code:

<a class="add_to_cart_button button br_compare_button br_product_6935 br_compare_added" data-id="6935" > ... </a>

You can see the “add_to_cart_button” class which is Woo Default for, you know, “Add to cart” button. Because of that, after loading the page the link’s href attribute is changed. Which breaks it, and we obviously want to have both compare and add to cart button on a product page without any problems. Can we please have it fixed? It’s very important for us to be able to show the comparison button on the product page. I think this should be a default feature for the plugin.

we are using this plugin on our site but for loggedin user it works fine but for logged out user plugin dosen’t work. when i add product in compare then on compare page it displays all the products of site rather than only selected products. please check on urgent basis.

This plugin doesn’t show them.

The Compare plugin is impressive – especially when able to compare values for ACF fields & taxonomies.
BUT the compare table does NOT auto align the row heights in the left hand column (properties for compare) with the row heights of the columns containing the compared values.
Is this fixable?

After 8 month, this issue is still relevant:

I have multilangual page via Polylang. How can one use different page per language? Whem I try to do compare on EN page, I am redirected to CS version (/cs/porovnani/?compare=37234,37236). Yes, in my plugin settings is CS page. But this one is translated via Polylang.

Main problem is that, if I do compare on EN page, products are in czech. When I replace URL for EN one (/en/compare/?compare=37234,37236), it works well.

I have a question about the “Open compare table via AJAX on same page” feature. On my website the AJAX request to open the compare table takes between 1,5s to 3s, which is a bit slow and I was wondering if there’s a way to speed it up? I’ve tried disabling all non-essential plugins which seemed to improve the speed a little bit, but that doesn’t seem like a plausible solution i think. I’ve also tried switching from the child theme to the default Flatsome theme which we are using but the results are pretty much the same. From what i’ve researched so far this might be related to the overall optimization of WordPress’ admin-ajax.php, but the suggestions i’ve tried such as installing the Heartbeat Control plugin and increasing the frequency settings to 300s haven’t really had much of an effect.

Can I hide the Compare button for a specific product? We have a gift card product.

Hi, is it possible to let the customers to select the products to compara by themselves? For example, customer A wants to compare product 1 and product 2, customer B wants to compare product 1, product 3 and product 4. They can add the needed product to compare by themselves.

“Compare” is not picking up ANYMORE the attributes I have inserted.
I am using the plugin “WP Sheet Editor” which is able to organize the attributes in alphabetical order, but when I action this the attributes disappear from the Compare tables, while they still show just fine in the product.
Could something be done with “Compare” to pick these attributes?
I am talking with “WP sheets” developers as well in the meanwhile.
