I have a custom position that I would like to display this in, rather than on any of the hooks. What is the shortcode to put into a product page please?
]]>Hi there,
Is it possible to include expiry dates for products when uploading them in bulk in a csv file?
I’ve tried uploading using the following meta options:
Meta: woo_expiry_date: 2024-05-16
Meta: woo_expiry_action: out
Which seems to have worked as the products are showing expiry dates and out of stock as the action, but I’m not seeing any cron jobs added.
Will it still work, or is there something I need to do to make it work?
Thank you for your help!
]]>Hi there,
Are there any known conflicts?
I can’t seem to get this to work.
Thanks for your help!
]]>Hi there,
I think this is probably a silly question, but how can I test if this is working without having to wait a day?
Is it possible to set the expiry to a specfic time and day, so I can make sure it’s working after a couple of minutes?
Thank you for your help!

]]>Hello,
Can you please add an option to show the expiring date on fronded product page only the last X days befor exiry?
Thank you.
]]>I am looking for this kind of a plugin, but i need it to set an adjustable expiry alert to the shopowner. For example:
The product is set to expire on a specific date. 1, 2 and/or 3 months before it expires, i’d like the shopowner to get an email about the expiry. Is that possible with this extension?
Is it possible to change the action settings for all products at once and not for each product separately on the product page itself? And is it possible to show the expiry date for variable products in the order items details in the back end?
]]>I use Polylang to support multilingual. It would be really nice to duplicate Expiry Date to products in all languages. Otherwise need to set date maually, it is quite painfull.
]]>I am using shortcode to display expiry date on frontend. I’ve set up Y. m. d. date format, but the output includes hour and minute as well, like this: 2024. 01. 01. 00:00. How can I hide hour and minutes so it shows 2024. 01. 01. ?
]]>Hi,
First of all nice plugin!
But maybe, it could be interesting to have another option when the expiration date aproach.
It could be interesting to disable the variation. I mean, leave the variation into the product but if it’s disabled, the variation not appears in the frontend select option.
I hope you find interesting this feature to develop!
Kind regards
]]>hi
thanks for the free plugin
May i know how to move the expired items to a category named expired
Thanks in advance
]]>It should be great to have more information in the documentation about how to easily import and export expiry dates and in what format; it looks like this hasn’t been mentioned earlier after searching this forum for export intext:”Plugin: Product Expiry for WooCommerce” and import intext:”Plugin: Product Expiry for WooCommerce”
I assume it’s in the meta data?
]]>Hi, we need to make it work with other languages using WPML:
Specificaly: Expiry Text Markup.
Any ideas how to make it work for different languages different values?
Hi, the plugin seems to have stopped working for us. Expiry dates are showing, but the products are not expiring. We load the products using a CSV upload which also sets the expiry date and instruction to expire to draft. When checking on the product it all seems correct, but expiry never happens.
]]>There is no way to set time, plugin sends admin notification, before the product expiration date.

]]>Hello!
On saving a product, there is logic to clear any existing one-time event and re-schedule it with the new date, but if the new expiry date is just an empty string (i.e., no more expiry, it’s been removed), then the old event is not cleared: Markup 2023-08-03 at 13.45.21.png – Droplr
Steps to reproduce:
Expected: the one-time cron event is removed.
Actual: the one-time cron event will run tomorrow.

Current workaround: for now, it works to set the Action
field to None
, but if somebody forgets to do that, then the action will take place on the date that was previously set.
Thanks for nice plug in. It is really useful for my online store.
Could you please add to All Goods page filter by No Expiry date. So we could easily find goods where expiry date is missing.
]]>Hi,
I tested the plugin and it looks great, but is there anyway I can filter by expiry date and then download a report?
]]>Hello, Thanks for your greatuful plugin
I need to display the expiry date on the order page in the dashboard for the variable products in each item in the order also I need to add it to the invoice in the email and the printed invoice with the order shipping.

Also, the expiry date is displayed twice in the invoice in the email sent to customers

Also I need to add Arabic and RTL Support to your plugin
]]>Can you put an expiry date on a product or order so that it will auto expire (go away) from the order history two years after a purchase? So the expiry will vary from each customer based on the purchase date but always two years.
]]>I have set the items in this list to expire (switch to draft) on the day of the class but it doesn’t appear to work. If I set 20.4.23 as the expiry should it expire as soon as the calendar hits that date or is it at midnight on the day set? A clock as well as a calendar would be a great addition to this plugin so you can accurately set a time to switch a product to draft.
]]>I have set expired dates on these products for April 12, 2023
Variable product: https://maddistributions.com/product/bella-canvas-unisex-sponge-fleece-pullover-hoodie/
Simple product: https://maddistributions.com/product/savasana-bottle-20oz/
The simple product works, as it shows out of stock, but the variable product is still able to be purchased.
On the backend they show out of stock: https://share.getcloudapp.com/mXuDbgXO But I assume the problem is it is not turning the variable products out of stock.
How can I fix this?

Hello,
Thank you for your work. All is working great, except I don’t know how to put the expiry date with the SKU, categories and tag I want to insert it first, and after that the SKU(cod)… also I saw that on the variable product page there is a bigger gap after the expiry date and the add to cart button.
Thank you very much,
