Prizm is outstanding and when it was completely free without restrictions it was fantastic. For the money though at the mid level $49 it may for some be better value to us wp smush pro and then you get all the other extras that come with wpmu membership.

After 1-2min of site ‘working something’ I get 404 error https://prntscr.com/8oaa55
I don’t know what was happening because there was no progress bar, I do not know also what the 120sec means in ”How many seconds should we wait for a response from Prizm Image?”
Does this got something to do with ”max execution time”?
What are server requirements and what configuration is needed for the plugin to run corectly etc etc.
Please explain all this so I can re-review the plugin.

After having tried WP Smush, Compress JPEG & PNG images and EWWW Image Optimizer, I am totally convinced and impressed by the speed performance and the compression quality (however set at “Higher quality – Larger file size) of Prizm image ?? !!
Try it is to adopt it ?? !
Well done ! Great work !
I really wish to thanks you for keeping that kind of tool free ?? !!
Amicably,
Pierre.

Brilliant! Even I used the Smush.it Prizm had been able radically to reduce a size of my images. The only one imperfection seems to be a confusing handling with a licence key: The key what user see after registration is not what he need to get a plugin to work.

“Error: An invalid license key was specified.”
I try 2 keys from your website, same results…

Even after using Smush.it and EWWW image optimizer on my media library, Prizm created massive savings.
I would agree that you should make sure you have a backup of files before running them through the Prizm API, but if you use these precautions then it is fantastic.
Would only add that the controls are all over the place so the UI/frontend could do with revamp. FYI, currently you need to go to Settings>Media to enter your API key.

Prizm image is the best plugin if you are worried about your image sizes. I am using this plugin for quit a while now and used this to optimize more than 20 sites. Awesome plugin!

great plugin. Author keeps it updated and it really takes a load off of image serving.

Where do you enter the license number – it reads you enter it in media, but no place in my media to put it.
Then I have just read that for cloud you send them the license, so do you do the same for wordpress media ?

Deleted all the original images on my site and replaced them with 2kb error messages. Thankfully I always have a backup.
Use with caution.

This is exactly what we were looking for. We love our high res images, but quality has always been a tradeoff with page load speeds. So far, this plugin has produced great looking images at a fraction of the size. Really happy about the impact it has had on our page load times.

The only issue i’ve seen is that it took a fair amount of time to do 25 images and didnt seem to finish, may be i should have waited longer though

I think it’s a great alternative to other plugins that optimize your images. It could use some more settings and when you run the bulk opmization it’s very slow and it takes forever.
That said the results are very good. I went from a Google Page speed of around 50 to aroung 90 just optmizing my images.
