I have just published a Page and a Post on WordPress 5.9 and neither was private by default.
]]>Thanks for producing this plugin. Something I notice, is that I’m unable to save as a draft anymore with this activated – it simply publishes it as a private post.
The behaviour I was hoping for was that a new post would default to “Visibility: Private” in the Publish section, so that when publish was clicked it would be private as default unless it was manually changed to public – it does this correctly. However, I was hoping to be able to use draft as I do now until the post is complete, and then to publish once done, with private already being the default.
Are there simple modifications that could be made either myself or in the plugin? Without having options/UI, I would have thought this would be the more instinctive default behaviour.
Is there an alternative way of having posts ready to be private by default when they first get published?
Thanks
