Export ran fine but the Import into a new standalone site has crawled to a halt and is stuck at –
Importing 6 remaining plugins, 74% done.
Is it safe to refresh the page and start again?
Does an unfinished import mean you have to start again with a fresh database + site?
Might turbo mode help?
Are there features in the Paid version to speed-up or chunk the import?

]]>Hey Guys,
When i migrate from a subsite to a the main page on my multipress, i am unable to delete plugins after the migration has happened.
Does anyone know why that would be happening?
Thanks,
David
Hello and thank you for your work.
As per title, we need to migrate a single site to an existing, live multisite (4 sub-sites already exist).
The multisite already has themes (theme X, theme Y, theme Z) and plugins (plugin A, plugin B, plugin C, plugin D, plugin E)
The single site has themes (theme X, theme Z, theme XXX) and plugins (plugin A, plugin B, plugin DDD, plugin FF)
What happens during migration? Are theme X, theme Z, plugin A, plugin B overwritten in multisite? Or will Prime Mover skip preexisting plugins/themes leaving them untouched?
Would we need to manually transfer each new theme/plugin (a delicate as well as tedious task), just export the database from the single site and then go through the whole process again every time we need to import a new single site as sub-site?

Hi
I’ve migrated several standalone sites into a multisite with great success (only one or two image/icon issues), but the last two sites I migrated have displayed strange behaviour with regard to the subsite admin account.
On all sites previously (11 up till then) both the Superadmin and imported admin accounts have access to the wp-admin page, but on these last two, only the Superadmin account has access to the wp-admin.
After logging in, the subsite admin account (whether it is newly created post migration or imported), only has access to the admin bar at the top of the page. However none of the links on the admin bar, although they point to the wp-admin page.
One account, which has admin access to one of the first 11 migrations, and one of the later ones, displays this behaviour only in the later site.
I have looked in the database at capabilities for each of the subsites on that account, and they are identical.
Scratching my head on this one, and I don’t want to purchase the Pro option if the problem persists – although I’d do so in a minute if it would solve the problem.
Any assistance would be gratefully accepted.
Hi there,
First off, I love this plugin. It’s awesome – great work.
I use the Breakdance page builder on a lot of sites and it (as well as Oxygen builder) deactivate the theme – they basically act as the theme. I notice that whenever I attempt to export a site from a multi site using Prime Mover, it results in an error: Codexonics\PrimeMoverFramework\classes\PrimeMoverSystemProcessors::primeMoverExportProcessor method: Export result error found:Theme files missing for export. Check if you have themes activated.
It would be awesome if the plugin was able to work without an active theme as that would fit the workflow for anyone using these builders.
Cheers,
Phil

This happens when both WP Multi Network and Prime Mover are activated and only with the latest Prime Mover version 1.9.2
Disabling either one of these plugins will fix the error but since we’ve been using WP Multi Network for many years, and need it to manage multiple networks on the same installation, we have no other choice than to disable Prime Mover.
Is this a known conflict? Any way to get the two plugins to play nice again?
Thanks for any advise and attention to this issue ??
]]>Hello, I am finally testing it to my real service site, but I am stuck at 12% comparing system footprint, for all subsites. It worked for subsite 3, but since then from subsite 5 to 10, all are in the same situation.
]]>I have tried to ‘merge’ two websites while migration from multiple single sites to one giant multisite with below steps
Upto #3, Prime Mover works smoothly. The problem lies in #4 as the customized theme settings are completely replaced by #3’s single site’s settings.
Since all theme settings are stored in posts/postmeta tables in DB, I guess there isn’t much room to preserve existing theme’s settings, but would deeply appreciate it if some of them can be preserved.
In addition to the above theme setting preservation issue, the guid (in wp_x_posts table) was not converted to new domain. I had to manually change it by replace query. The same issue occurs in other DB tables. I have used/tested many migration plugins, and I think this is a kind of common feature nowadays. Plz add the function in your next update.
For other functions, I am very much content at stage #5. All common user accounts are jointly combined across multisites, although the calculation took quite some time. For 1GB chunk migration, for usual single site to single site, it takes less than 10 mins, but w/ prime mover for single to multi, it took over 30 mins for one site. Guess some people maybe displeased by that, I am OK with little bit of lag as long as the end-result is perfect. (so that I don’t have to run multiple replace/remove SQL queries) After all, we use this plugin for cleanest possible migration.
]]>I am testing out this lite version to see if it does the job since I am planing on buying the paid version for back-ups and etc etc.
I have backed-up all my single websites and now ready to migrate to multi-site, but once the plug in is installed, the system does not allow file uploads (plugins, theme, images…), and every click of ‘theme’ on the admin panel’s far left menu, theme.php file is downloaded to web browser. Not sure what’s going on, but it seems not functioning properly as of now.
]]>Can anyone please advise me what strategy is best in my case? I currently have a WPMU site with 7 subsites. All sites are part of the same website, so migrating would be an obvious choice in terms of maintenance.
I have a current VPS on which WPMU runs.

Should I first migrate locally. WPMU to WP on my current VPS? Then do the move to the new VPS? Or should I follow a different route for this?
Hi,
I was using your nice plugin for long time without any problems. I recently migrated my database to SQL 8 (pressing from provider) and the are some new troubles regarding export with your plugin.
I can observe export progress to 9-10% and then message: Runtime Error.
For investigation purposes I created very simple environment and the issue can be repeatedly observed. The last line of the log file is:
Logged export event for blog ID 1 from Codexonics\PrimeMoverFramework\classes\PrimeMoverSystemProcessors::primeMoverExportProcessor method: Export result error found:Connection to mysql failed with message: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Connection refused
Can you advise me how to solve this?
Changes in wordpress settings, the database or the server?
Thank you in advance.

We are getting run time error while importing, can you please check and assist us, Kindly find out the link for errors
Hi, Prime Mover is an AWESOME plugin for what it does and I’m happy to have found it.
However, wanted to let you know a bug I came across, where having Prime Mover installed and active led to my client being unable to save post metadata – specifically, fields for Yoast SEO keyword phrase and meta description would not save until we deactivated Prime Mover. After deactivation these fields saved normally.
Might be something to look into for future development. Of course for now, maybe the right answer for my client and other users is only to activate Prime Mover when you’re actually ready to move something. Thanks!
Hi,
Im running v1.8.2 on a WordPress v6.1.1 multisite (1 main site, 16 child “sub” sites). Multisite is running domain driven (so a different domain mapped to each subsite).
Installing Prime Mover went fine, however when I “active” the plugin (ie. Network Activate) so I can clone/backup a subsite, it caused one of my subsites (blog ID 8) to break publicly (ie. anyone visiting this site’s domain that isn’t logged into the WordPress admin is presented with content coming in from the main site, no theme being used, meta data all wrong, content missing (ie. page content) etc. However if an admin user logs into the admin, then viewed the site, it works and looks fine, as intended.
This doesn’t happen for any of the other subsites. Just blog ID 8.
I have tested this on multiple servers including a development environment that runs different content. It still causes an issue on a blog ID 8.
When you Deactivate the Prime Mover plugin, the broken sites starts working as it should do.
Any thoughts?
