Can someone please post the required CSS to insert into Elementor Custom CSS in order to change font from bold to normal for this calendar.
Hi folks,
I am wondering if there’s a good way to only show previous events with the list view.
Something like this does not work, but illustrates what I am looking for, I think:
[pretty_google_calendar gcal=”…” views=”listCustom” initial_view=”listCustom” list_type=”custom” custom_days=”-28″]
Thank you!
Hi all
congrats for your beautiful plugin!
I wonder if I can render the events in different colors based on the label color wich I can set in gcal for every event.
Tnx!!!!
hi,
maybe I’m being a bit thick here, i have the calendar working well but want to use a few changes using the code on the instructions.
I am going into the code block where the shortcode is pressing advanced and then custom css then copying the code into there but its not working!
Any help appriciated.
Thanks
I got some warning from Search Console regarding missing Structured Data, and it relates to this calendar plugin. I am not using these fields in the calendar but for some reason I get this warning. Do I need to do something about it or just ignore…
Missing field ‘location’
Missing field ‘eventAttendanceMode’
Missing field ‘endDate’…etc
I would like to add the description in the list view? Does anyone have a tip?
I’ve been trying for a couple days to get events to show up, but the calendar remains blank. Here’s are details and everything I have tried
[pretty_google_calendar gcal= "[email protected]"]
It’s probably something dumb I’m missing. Any help would be appreciated.
Dear Loren,
thank you very much for developing and supporting this plugin!
It works for me when coming to events that have a start and an end date.
Unfortunately full day events won’t show up.
Do you have an idea how to fix this?
Cheers from Hamburg,
Stefan
Love the plugin, which I’m using to display a list of forthcoming gigs up to a year ahead, but I cannot work out how to change the date format (to display the year and truncate the month to three or four letters). Can you advise?

Hello! I LOVE this plug-in and am hoping you might be able to help me with an issue I’m having. I’m using the list view with the tooltip. On my desktop, one of my Google Calendar items keeps popping up off-screen (to the right). All other listings work beautifully, with their pop up content positioned in the middle of the page. I suspect this has to do with the fact that this particular calendar item is rather lengthy. Is there a way to force the tippy content to stay within the bounds of the screen, regardless of much content the calendar item contains?
Thank you!!
p.s. My website is currently hidden/password-protected because we’re still beta testing. Please let me know if you need me to lift this or send the logins.
I tried to follow the instructions for creating an API key. However, when it came to ‘restrict key’, there was simply no Google Calendar option (for example, the first option is: Analytics Hub API). Can anyone help?
Thank you in advance.
Hello. Thanks for the plugin! I have two calendars, one is working fine, but on the second one tippy shows wrong time range, all the events are +3h. Screenshot here: https://tinyurl.com/4yfybhx9
I have tried:
* using only single calendar
* using the fc_args={“timeZone”:”local”}
* double checked GA timezone settings
* updated the timezone on wp settings
* have tested on two different servers and browsers
* wp and the plugin are on the latest version
Any ideas? Thanks!
I need to add a calendar in a Widget. I’ve successfully managed to configure the shortcode in a block on a page (see https://saintj.com/wp/events-scratch-page/) but when I try to paste the same shortcode into a widget I see the Back/Forward buttons and the “Powered by Pretty Google Calendar” footer, but the message “No events to display”. You’ll see that widget at the bottom of the sidebar widgets on that same page.
Ideally I’d like to have the Month view on my “Events” page, and use a widget with the List view of the next 7 days events on the footer block of the homepage and the sidebar of the other pages.
I’ve not found any references to widgets in the forum elsewhere, so hopefully this is possible.
Great plugin so far! A donation is coming very soon.
Hi there,
this works great out of the box but I’m wondering if I could make the links to events open in a new tab? As it is now, clients leave our website to enter Google Calendar online. A less than desired outcome ??
Kind Regards!
Hi,
How do I go about changing the date format currently like this – Friday, May 31 but I want it as Friday 31 May.
Also, I have it set to custom list for it to show 5 days but on desktop it tends to show 1 event, on mobile it works as expected. How do I go about hiding the next and previous buttons?
Hi there!
I have a client that has a ton of events a month during the school year. The vision we have is to have a full month view calendar, but have the days with events have some kind of indicator and not list the full events, prompting the users to click on the event day to view all of the events. Is this something we can accomplish with this plugin?
I realized that the General Settings > Time Zone was still set to the default: UTC-0 instead of the time zone this site is in: UTC-4 because all events in the feed were 4 hours later than they should be — I changed that Setting > Reading, Saved it, and cleared all caches (SG Cache, browser cache, hosting server Memcache and Dynamic Cache… even opened in a completely separate browser that had never been to that site before). Still showing as 4 hours behind in all instances — even after I removed the Google API in the hopes of clearing out the system by then reapplying it — no luck in any browser.
Example: Tuesday May 30 is NOT 11PM — should be 7PM…. Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Hello and thank you for the great plug-in. It seems that I have a problem with the popup when it has to be open not above but under the event. It make the map and add button inactive. it seem that when it get off the space of calendar it becomes inactive. Do you have any idea how I can fix that or get roundabout it?

Hi PGC support,
The site’s calendar in question is (as far as I can see) setup properly to pull from the Google Cal. There should be a week’s long event in July called “KCC Summer Day Camp” showing there… but I see nothing, even after clearing all caches and/or opening in a “new” browser that hasn’t been to the site ever.
Any thoughts? Spot any flaws in the setup? Please let me know!
Steve
The shortcode on my website makes the Google Calendar to be displayed through the API to Google Calendar. So far so good. But the event times are set to a certain time zone. Is it possible to make the time zones to be determined automatically so the time is displayed in the visitor’s local time. Because, right now, if an event starts at 8 pm, then it is at 8 pm in my time zone, and not necessarily where the visitors are. That means that the visitor always has to calculate the time to his or her time zone, making this unnecessarily complicated.
Hello, How can I make the LIST view to be the preset view when loading the page?
I want it to load like this: https://paste.pics/90ef31d4029e1170188b3a2a72b751dd not the weekly or monthly calendar. I have tried several variations of the shortcode and it keeps rolling back to the monthly view.
This is the shortcode
[pretty_google_calendar gcal=”[email protected]” locale=”es” list_type=”listWeek”
show_title=”true”
initial_view=”listWeek” enforce_listview_on_mobile=”true”]
Thanks a lot. I loved the plugin, easy to use and easy to customise.

How do you set the mobile breakpoint to auto change to list?
I was messing with function pgcal_is_mobile(width = 768) in helpers.js but doesn’t seem to do anything. I’d like to change it to something smaller.
Is the auto change a full calendar thing or from pretty google cal?
Hi,
I’m receiving warnings from Plesk, Patchstack and Wordfence regarding ‘Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (‘Cross-site Scripting’)’
https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/wordpress-plugins/pretty-google-calendar/pretty-google-calendar-172-authenticated-contributor-stored-cross-site-scripting
Is this known / is there a planned update to resolve please.
Thank you
Would be cool if there was a similar .pgcal-event-0, .pgcal-event-1, etc. for the tippy popups too. I have 6 calendars for different brands so it would be nice to hook into those somehow.
How can I eliminate past dates from showing in my list view?
Hi!, first of all many thanks for the plugin and also thanks in advance for the support!
The site I’m managing is using ACF and the way it’s done is forcing me to use php templates for the page I want to host your Pretty Google Calendar.
Is it possible to include or call the code snippet from php?, how it should be done to use the parameters I want to use?

[pretty_google_calendar gcal="[email protected]" locale="es"?show_title="true" use_tooltip="true" list_type="listCustom" custom_days="60" ]

In ACF I’m using WYSIWIG Editor Field but I don’t know if there is another kind of Field I could use to properly embed the calendar to avoid the use of PHP.
Thanks again, and pretty great job you are doing!
