My first feed subscription displayed the items as expected in the All Content page. Upon setting up the 2nd subscription that page displays nothing at all. The folders also display nothing.

]]>Hi, I’ve used PressForward for a few months now and really liking it. However, since 5.6.1 the buttons ‘Nominate’ and ‘Amplify’ seem to be broken. I’m using WordPress 6.4.2, accessing on both Safari and Firefox (Mac). If I go to ‘All content’, it shows the relevant feeds. I can click on ‘Nominate’ or ‘Amplify => Send to Draft’, but nothing happens. No draft appears. Items don’t appear in the Nominated category.
Console tells me that 404, failed to load https://www.filmvanalledag.nl/wp-content/plugins/pressforward/Libraries/popper.min.js.map
]]>Hi
Thanks for developing this great plugin but unfortunately I have encountered issues after upgrading to the latest version.
For some reason I see a few 404 errors in the browser console when I open the All content or nominated view.
GET https://radiostud.io/wp-content/plugins/pressforward/build/blocks-frontend.min.js 404
GEThttps://radiostud.io/wp-content/plugins/pressforward/build/blocks-frontend.min.css
I se that these files are in the plugin zip file. But when I installed the plugin, either through ZIP or via the New Plugin search, I face the same problem.
Because of this none of the buttons on the Nomination view are working.
I have verified this on my staging website also.
Please advise.

It would be nice if the text for the SOURCE: link could be edited to something other than SOURCE:
Could we strip out more of the HTML in the articles being nominated/pressed forward? I’m finding that a lot of DIVs and SPANs get picked up that I have to edit out manually. Which is what I do right now.
Thanks for a great plugin!
]]>When Pressforward is active it’s changing the Author Archive links to return a /?p=nnnnn link to some page instead. Yes, I’ve tried multiple themes, turned off all other plugins, etc.

]]>I’m using v5.40 on WP 6.2. When I tried to use this to share a Youtube video it worked away for a bit then instead it showed the admin of my site in the editor window.
]]>It would be nice if we could set the following as options:
Default to current date for post Y/N – right now it always defaults to this and if you schedule the post, instead, then it does both. I’d prefer to turn this off.
Template for Source. I’d like to be able to specify what automatically shows up for the source.
Featured Image: It would be nice if the plugin picked up the image from the metadata. Currently, the post image has to be in the post to be picked up.
Turn OFF ‘Don’t Forward’ option on Post Edit screen. I don’t use this and would love to be able to turn this off.
Option to have SOURCE included at the end of the content instead of a separate metabox.
Include LH NOMINATE THIS into your code so we don’t have to install that plugin as well.
]]>Note: I REALLY like PressForward but it needs cleaning up.
I pretty much always have it send the posts as Drafts as I haven’t puzzled out Nominations yet.
None of the categories I select make it to the draft post.
If I remove the ‘Via Bookmarklet” tag it still shows up in the draft post.
I’m on version 5.3.1
That’s it!
]]>Just FYI, I noticed if your only outbound link in a post is in the new “Source” box in WP-Admin for the post, Yoast does not count it as an outbound link (probably does not detect it because it is in the separate box). This gets flagged in Yoast SEO’s analysis as an issue (as they want at least one outbound link per post), although it really isn’t one if it does get on the page I guess.
The folks at Yoast are very responsive – they may be able to add a tweak to also look for a link in the Source box to avoid the issue from being flagged in their analysis.
]]>The latest version of this plugin is adding source links to pages it shouldn’t. The examples I’m aware of include custom post types created with WCK, where it adds a source link which points at the post itself.
]]>I cannot find an installable version of the Chrome Extension. Also, the selected category(s) don’t come over to the post.
]]>After upgrading to the new version, the bookmarklet doesn’t work to send the page URL and Title at the bottom of the text as it did previously. I checked the settings but didn’t see one that turned this off that I could toggle.
EDIT: I see there is a new source box in the post admin interface. Why keep this in a separate element? Is there a toggle to just keep it inside the post like it was previously? All other posts we have are inside the standard editor, unsure why this is now splitting them out.
]]>Very powerful plugin, thank you. I was wondering if there was a way once a post is put into Draft for it also to have at the bottom not just the Source: [Title] but Source: [Title] via [SourceName]
This way it is more readily apparent what the Source is in the post itself (without clicking through). Bonus points if Source: can be changed to Read: somehow.
Again, great work, thank you for this outstanding contribution – the plugin really is great.
]]>In the WordPress admin bar, an “Pressforward Alert” is displayed.
I haven’t noticed any consequences that I can assign to the error, other than what the Debugging Plugin revealed, which is the following:
Position:Missing Dependencies
Handle: pf-subscribed-styles
Source: content/plugins/pressforward/assets/css/pf-subscribed.min.css
Dependencies: pf-style (missing)
I am using:
WordPress Version 6.0.3
PHP Version 7.4.32
PressForward Version 5.2.10
Hope this helps.
So long, and thanks for the amazing work.
I can’t get the bookmarklet to work… when I click it, nothing happens.
I am using:
WordPress Version 6.0.3
PHP Version 7.4.32
PressForward Version 5.2.9
In the WordPress admin bar, it says “PF!” “Pressforward Alert.” When I click it, I get directed to PressForward>Preferences>User Options. I couldn’t figure out what to do here.
I also decided to use a Debugging Plugin to see if it’d reveal something, and it did:
Position:Missing Dependencies
Handle: pf-subscribed-styles
Source: content/plugins/pressforward/assets/css/pf-subscribed.min.css
Dependencies: pf-style (missing)
Don’t know if all that is actually related or separate issues.
Hope the info I included is going to help.

Hey ?? I use the bookmarklet tool to curate content that my participants publish in my blogging course. But: Whenever I use the bookmarklet to nominate/publish a blog article the category in the published blog article is always “uncategorized”, although I clicked the right category in the bookmarklet. I always have to quick edit each article to change the category.
If it’s relevant: I use chrome on a MacBook.
Thank you!
I have got a number of major errors that crashed my installation of wordpress, one attached here. I have had to remove it and not sure what can be done. Hopefully this can be fixed.
]]>Running WordPress 5.8 and PressForward 5.2.6, we are no longer able to preview articles, nominate or amplify them. When navigating to the All Content tab, the articles appear but selecting links and buttons result in nothing happening. When selecting nominate, it looks to like it will process the request but when we navigate to the nominated section, none of the new articles appear. In fact the last date that we successfully nominated content was July 19.
We have tried in Chrome and Safari, and have cleared browser and site caches. No errors seem to appear in the console. We love this plugin and are really hoping you will be able to help us resolve this issue quickly.
]]>Hello,
I have pressforward in two different wordpress blog. But in one of them, Pressforward have issues. If I click on amplify, nothing happen.I don’t have the entire PressForward Toolbar. It doesn’t look like the other, it is lighter. have the latest version in both cases, so I don’t understand what is wrong. I have reinstall pressforward, nothing changed.
How can I repare pressforward ? I have wordpress Version 5.7.2 version for the one which doesn’t work and WordPress 5.4.6 for the other.
Please help me, I have no more idea to fix this problem !

]]>I’ve recently updated Press Forward to Version 5.2.5. After update when I post an article to site the formatting is all run together, i.e. no paragraph separation. It was working fine on this same site before the update.
I’m still using the same Brave browser I’ve always used with the plugin and nothing else has changed except the update.
I’ve tried everything I know to do on my end. Love the plugin and have used it for several years now with awesome results.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

]]>Hi – I love PF – have used it for years through various versions.
Tried installing on a new site a few weeks ago sadly it was not available – I guess between versions.
Today I installed 5.2.5 on a new WP site, copied the bookmarklet shortcut to Chrome’s bookmark bar, renamed the bookmark — and the bookmark is not working.
It site right next to another PF bookmarklet from an older site which still works fine…
Have removed and reinstalled the bookmarket shortcut to no avail…
Any suggestions?
Hi,
When I select a post with the Nominated bookmarklet, the catagory I choose and select is never saved in the new post : when I edit the generated post, it’s still the “Uncategorized” category which has beeen saved.
Any idea to solve this problem ?
Thanks and best regards !

]]>Hi,
I just created my WordPress Blog. Since I don’t have any content yet, but wanting to start generate some traffics to my website I decide to put RSS Feeds in my Home Page.
I’m particularly interested in showing other people’s Etsy shop pages.
My question is, do I need a permission from the owners of those Etsy shops as well as from Etsy to rss feed their shops in my blog?
Thank you.
]]>Hi
I get all my feeds into Feedly. I scan through, read those who may interest me. I then push them to my mobile Pocket App to keep it for duration.
Instead of pulling all my feeds into your plugin is there a way to only work with my pre check mobile cration before I pull it into WordPress?
I am not sure if you are familiar with the newsletter tool Twitter bought. It’s called Revue. They link to a sidebar, in the compose window, to various feeds including rss, Instagram, and Pocket for example. You can then compile your post (email in their case) etc using these curation input by dragging and dropping a topic in the composer.
I was thinking of composing my post in Revue and repost it in wordpress but hoped their is an in wordpress solution.

]]>Hello,
I know the devs are not looking at this forum anymore. I am hoping other users might help…
Is there a way to stop the plugin from repeating the headline inside the post?
I know that I can edit the post. I just want to prevent it automatically.

Hi,
Is there’s a way to decide once for all the amount of text to be published from a nominated post obtained through RSS or bookmarklet?
And is it possible to build a template to always have the source edited in a certain way?
This example shows pretty well what I intend to obtain (https://mediawell.ssrc.org/2020/07/13/sharing-on-social-media-may-hinder-assessing-accuracy-of-news-psych-central/)
Have the length of the text been manually edited? And what about the “source” link?
Can it be obtined automatically?
Best regards
