I’ve tried the various code suggestions and tutorials
I went here: https://www.bloafer.com/wordpress-plugins/posts-to-page/ and it’s a dead page.
I just want to see my posts with the title only. No other info…
Right now they look like this:
https://www.raincrossfinancialpartners.com/education/
I dont want time, author, categories, etc showing.
Hello. Is there a way to display a default message if the category is empty? Occasionally, we will have no posts in a particular category and rather than just an empty page, I would like to display a custom message like “no posts at this time – please check back” or something like that. Thank you!
I’d like to be able to add a class to the Posts to Page short code so that I can style certain categories differently than the other posts. Do you support this somehow?
Hi
I have setup to see a parent category, but the child catergories are displaying as well. How do i only show the parent category?
Thanks in advance.
I’m using Post to Page with WP version 4.1.1 using the Responsive Theme. The post thumbnail is missing from the excerpt in the sidebar. I looked for the plugin’s CSS, but alas there is no CSS file. Are there any known conflicts between this plugin and Responsive Theme? Can someone point me to code or tell me what’s missing? I’ve checked the widget and I’ve go the “Show post thumbnail” box checked and the pixel boxes completed. Help, PLEASE!
I’m not sure, but is it possible to just show the date and not the time right after it? Or some way to format the date? Thanks in advance!
Please bear with me, I am a very new beginner and I do not know coding. I have a vision for my site and I have seen many threads with many people asking if this is possible with little to no answers. I am hoping this plug in is my answer but before I install it I was hoping for some feedback.
I have two pages that I would like to send posts to. I would like the most recent post to show but there to also be an archive of sorts to go to the previous posts. One page is called “In the News” and the other is called “Weekly Message.” I have made categories for each but again, I am new and I have a very limited understanding of the purpose of categories.
Thank you in advance for your patience and assistance

Please try: [posts-to-page show_image=”true” image_size=”680×80″] [posts-to-page category=3 limit=1 show_author=false show_categories=false show_tags=false show_image=false suppress_filters=true] only category and limit work rest do not works
Great plugin but I just would like to know if it is possible to change the layout so that the image is on the left and the text is not above it but to the right of it?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to use this plugin for the tax codes, however to start, I have tried a simple code for post ids:
‘[ic_add_posts ids=’754′]’
This is not working. Would you please provide support on this?
Regards,
Steph
I have a problem with my posts. The show in all languages at the same time.

What do I do wrong?
Kind Regards

Have modified posts-to-page.php in an attempt to use the_date to display the month only once for posts created in that month:
foreach($displayposts as $post){
if($dataFlags[“tag_wrap”]){
$html .= ‘<‘ . $dataFlags[“tag_wrap”] . ‘ class=”‘ . $dataFlags[“class_wrap”] . ‘”>’ . PHP_EOL;
}
$html .= ‘<‘ . $dataFlags[“tag_title”] . ‘ class=”‘ . $dataFlags[“class_title”] . ‘”>’;
if($boolFlags[“show_month”]){
$html .= ‘
’ . the_date(‘F’, ‘
’, ‘
’) . ‘
’;
}
But only the date from the first post ever gets displayed???
Hi, I recently downloaded your plugin and it has been working great. My only concern is that the page navigation to get to ‘older posts’ or ‘newer posts’ has disappeared.
What can I do in order to get pagination on my category posts page?
A wordpress page is structured as:
—
Some text at the top of the page…
[posts-to-page category=1 use_template_file=”/posts-to-page/xxx” orderby=”title” order=”ASC”]
—
When this page is displayed, the templated posts appear before “Some text at the top of the page…”
At first I suspected the stylesheet or DIVS might be at fault, yet this problem persists even without any tags in the template.
When I mix a templated and a non-templated [posts-to-page] on the same page in wordpress, the templated version appears first before any other text of the page – whereas the non-templated portion appears at the intended location (where the shortcode is).
I’m not sure how to resolve this. Any ideas?
How do I do that?
Thanks ??
Hi!
How do I get more space between my posts?
Is there any “Easy custom css” I can use?
Kind Regards
Jennie
Using this on the page:
[posts-to-page category=general show_author=false show_comment_count="false" show_tags=false show_categories=false link_categories="false" limit=5 split_more=50]
But it continues to show the entire article, am I using the split parameter wrong?
Problem can be seen here: https://www.midnitte.com/
Hi,
great plugin
However, every time it is showing a post on the page I want it to. it is just showing it in full. It does have the read more right button at the end of post. The original code of plugin has not been changed. so read more is true.
Using “Blend” from Spectacu.la
thanks
Hi I’m 99% loving the plugin. I just have one issue that the text for the posts continues on and on and on off the right hand side of the screen; e.g. a paragraph displays on just one line. I have checked and cleared any tags. I am aware of the read more tag, and that’s not the issue: I want say to show the first few lines of the post, then insert a read more tag; so I want the title and the first few lines to show up, without the first few lines all being on one line…! I hope that makes sense…
Hey – Thanks for a great plugin!
I’m using the plugin on my front page. It works geat for the most part, but when the first image of a post has an image caption, I get somethnig like [caption id="attachment_370" align="alignleft" width="300"] instead of the caption being formatted correctly.
I would be happy, if I could simply remove the caption, when it is processed by post to page plugin, but I don’t knw how to do that.
I’m using twenty thirteen as theme.
Thank you
Hi,
ytou plugin works perfectlu with categories however for better posts management I need to filter posts by tag but I can’t find a proper parameter. Can you please advise?
Thanks!!
is there a way to set this up so that posts are presented in a manner that matches the following:
Wonderful Article by Evan. 01/05/2014
tags: non-fiction, dogs, umbrellas, waterfalls
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated as I love the customization options in this plug-in and would really like to be able to use it.
Thanks!
Evan
Hello! This is a great plugin, but when I add a picture to a post, it won’t show up on the page until you are viewing it on its category page.
The code I use is
[posts-to-page category=tavling orderby=post_date order=asc show_image=true link_title=false link_image=false show_categories=false link_tags=false display_sequence=title,date,author image show_readmore="false" excerpt=no show_comment_count="false"]
Hope you can help me ??
Hi,
I am trying to find a way to display a full blog post, rather than an excerpt. I am using the Theme Lensa, which only seems to allow a sidebar if you select your page as a ‘blog’ (hence needing this plug-in).
However, I am creating a website, as opposed to a blog, so I would like to display the whole thing, as if I had typed it straight into the page.
I have selected ‘full text’ rather than ‘excert’ in Settings>Reading, and that doesn’t seem to make a difference.
https://www.charlotte-white.net
Many thanks in advance
I can’t seem to get the display_sequence code to work. I think there may be something in the twenty-thirteen theme code conflicting. When I refresh the page the image appears at the top then pops back to the bottom. Here’s the code:
[posts-to-page category=recipes limit=10 orderby=”post_date” order=”desc” display_sequence=”title,image,content” show_image=”true” image_size=”300×200″ link_image=”true” show_date=”false” show_author=”false” show_tags=”false”]
Hi!
I couldn’t get the display_sequence working so I changed the line (98)
$displaySequence = explode(",", $dataFlags["display_sequence"]);
to
/* Check if we have a supplied display_sequence that should override our default */
if(isset($args["display_sequence"])) {
$displaySequence = explode(",", $args["display_sequence"]);
} else {
$displaySequence = explode(",", $dataFlags["display_sequence"]);
}
and now it works! But I only peeked into the code so maybe the fix should go somewhere else…
Hello … great plug-in.
I’d like to be able to see not only the post but the comments made to the post on the page where your plug-in is installed.
Can it happen? How?
Thanks
I’ve setup a page to display the latest blog posts but I can’t get previous or next (pagination) to show up.
Shortcode I’m using:
[posts-to-page show_image=false paginate=’yes’]
Also, I’ve looked at your documentation and I see true/false for boolean, but I also see people posting their shortcodes and they are using “yes/no”…which is proper?
Thanks!
I have removed author and date from the post using show_author=false and show_date=false, but is there a way to also remove the following at the end of the post:
Posted in: intro Read more… 0 comments
so that all I get is the post content and the image?
thanks
Hi – i am using the post-to-page pluging with eg [posts-to-page cat_ID=8] on a page to display certain posts on a page. on the page called “pictures” (https://vu2620.srv01.hofstede.de), it shows an “older posts” link at the bottom to see the other older posts.
i have the in principal same [posts-to-page cat_ID=9] on the page called “welcome”. problem is: it only shows 5 posts and no “older posts” button at the bottom of the page. no change if i have the welcome page as “front page” of my site or a different page as front page.
if i do change the welcome page in settings>reading> to be the “post page”, the the “older pages” shows up.
problem is: i cannot have the welcome page as “post page” and “front page” at the same time…
question is: how do i get the “older posts” to show up at the bottom of my “welcome” page and use this page as front page?
using WordPress 3.5.1. with the theme twenty eleven 1.5
thank you for any ideas or solutions, jens
