I’d really like to use your plugin, but when I enable it with my theme Seedlet, the like button sits hard up against the left-hand side of my site rather than in the post metadata area beneath the post.

Is there some CSS or something you can recommend to fix that?

Note: I haven’t got the plugin enabled at the moment.

I’m using your shortcode to add the like button to my post template.

How can I remove the like button that is automatically added after my post?

I tried display:none but that just removed them from both locations.

It used to be that I can click to undo my likes, now it becomes that I can only undo my likes before my page reloads. Once I reload the page, the undo trigger becomes pld-like-dislike-trigger, which if I click on it, it does nothing. Any idea how to get this fixed?

I have active plugin. I want to find which post is getting more likes and dislike in order of highest to low. I am not able to find the count in the database entry.

Where is the like / dislike count stored in the database?

I have only 2 suggestions:

1- It is possible to display the Like and Dislike button on the archive pages as well, Reza’s shortcode shows the number of likes and dislikes, but it is not possible to like and dislike from the archive pages and it does not show any reaction.

2- The possibility that when the user clicks on like and then clicks on dislike, one of the likes will be automatically added to the dislike, and also when the user clicks on dislike and then clicks on like, one of the dis-likes will be added. Few likes and added to one like.

* Add sortable columns to the admin posts list
* Add filter for Yoast Duplicate Posts so the like/dislike count is reset
* Add proper meta data registration
* Remove old internationalization code
* Fix widget width for Gutenberg
* Update font awesome to v6.2.1

Do you have a github/gitlab account? I couldn’t find one… if you want to look at the code you can see it over on my github repo (toolstack/posts-like-dislike). I imported the SVN from wp.org as a base and added from there.

As you can see, the default is in an awkward location, but the embedded “like” is great !

unfortunately, after I added the post ID to the shortcode and probably at the same time also activated the global button for post page types, the latter one will not disappear anymore.
Even when I delete the plugin the global like will still be displayed (!!!)
It also doesn’t have to do anything with browser cookies as it also appears in different browsers.

To make it clear: I only want to use the shortcode, not the global function. How can I cancel the global function?
It is really a bit crazy to have something nested in my website that I cannot change anymore…

The Tooltip works well, but it would be nice if there was something already present on the page without having to hover over with the mouse to see what the icon is all about.
