I had used this plugin several times before I hit it’s biggest snag: links are built using wp_posts->guid.

GUID is not supposed to be a link but just a universal id that should never change so, if I create content in a test site, lets call it test.abc.com, and then change the pointer of the site to the definitive one, called mysite.mycompany.com, the links still point to test.abc.com.

I don’t think it would difficult to fix, but apparently development on this plugin has stopped. Pity.
