]]>As of Postman SMTP v1.6, released on 2015-05-03, all of the functionality in the Postman Gmail API Extension has been rolled into Postman SMTP.
Once Postman v1.6 or higher is activated on a WordPress site, existing users of Postman Gmail API Extension may deactivate and delete this plugin. There will be no change to your existing mail subsystem. New users may skip downloading this plugin altogether and simply download Postman SMTP for the same functionality.
This change was made to provide users an even more seamless experience, from installation to operation. No longer does the setup workflow halt to require installation of the companion plugin.
At some point this plugin will be removed from the www.remarpro.com repository.
Thank-you for your continued support!

Fatal error: Call to a member function error() on a non-object in {sitepath}/wp-content/plugins/postman-gmail-extension/Postman/PostmanGmailExtension.php on line 91
I have version 1.5.4 of the Postmap SMTP plugin activated and the previous version of the gmail plugin worked without any issues.

There are two known issues with the first public release of this plugin which are severe enough to warrant this notice.
1. Deactivation without the parent plugin causes a crash
If the Postman SMTP plugin is NOT active when the Postman Gmail API Extension is deactivated, the plugin will crash. Please ensure Postman SMTP is installed and activated before deactivating or upgrading Postman Gmail API Extension v0.2.
2. Deactivating the plugin causes it to change Postman configuration
The plugin will de-configure itself when deactivated, and remain de-configured after reactivation. This means simply upgrading the plugin will cause it to panic and de-configure itself, and Postman SMTP will stop sending email.
Postman Transport reset to SMTP. Attention may be required.
After upgrading Postman Gmail API Extension v0.2, please open the Postman Settings and choose Configure Manually. In the “Transport” field re-select “Gmail API” and then Save Changes. Email service will resume.
Both of these issues are resolved in version 0.2.1.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
Jason
