When adding an order to the cart, we already get a message that the postcode is not valid while no postcode has been entered at that time. Is there anything we can do to prevent this?

]]>So this plugin hasn’t been updated for 3 years! This is quite an important factor as WooCommerce mentions that this plugin is abandoned. So I would like to ask to just push an extra update out to make it compatible with the latest WooCommerce version!
Thanks in advance!
]]>Less conversions. Not everybody knows his postcode. Because it is redundant information that only matters to the Post Office.
The plugin doesn’t check if a given post code corresponds to a given address state, or to the street address, or whatever. Opening door for errors.
PayPal doesn’t seem worried about this issue.
I see it too strict.
Please how do make this plugin not case sensitive? So that an entered postcode like “w1a 2pq” is accepted just like “W1A 2PQ”?

In Holland we have first four number followed up with two letter. I only want the restriction of the first four number.

]]>I see that the plugin is working and displaying a note at the bottom of the page at checkout. When the customer scrolls all the way down they will see it. However, this is confusing. I was hoping that only allowing orders to select zip codes would have removed all the entry fields on the page so that it doesn’t APPEAR as if the customer can order. Why present fields to fill out regarding entering the credit card, if you can’t order? On the previous cart page, instead of saying there are no shipping methods available and providing the “calculate shipping” link, it would be great if there was a zip code entry field there and when a person enters a zip code that isn’t being sold to, then it doesn’t make sense to even send them to the checkout page. It would be great if the “we don’t sell to your zip code” message displayed on the cart page instead and there was no “proceed to checkout” button. The way everything is displayed to the customer right now is very confusing. Have I missed something in setting this up? Thank you.

]]>Hi,
I’m looking around for a solution similar to any online take away service – where a customer can type in a postcode and see what is offered in that area.
So, I want to type in one or more (and wildcards) postcodes for a product and then want the customer to be able to search his/her postcode and see what products is available there.
Is this possible with your plugin?

Mikael

]]>I have the latest version of Woocommerce 2.4.3.
The problem I found is that if no postcode entered in the shipping calculation on the cart page (e.g. Free Shipping is available). When proceed to the Checkout page, the message “Sorry, Currently we are not providing service for provided postcode” shows up at the bottom of the page which is normal because there is no postcode entered. However, after entering in the postcode on the checkout page. The page doesn’t get updated automatically. Therefore, the Place Order button is not showing up. Is it something that I didn’t setup correctly??

]]>Hi,
I’m currently using WordPress 421_nl (dutch version) with WooCommerce 2.3.7 (including dutch WooCommerce plugin (WooCommerce (nl)) v1.1.6.
After installing the “Postcode based order restriction” plugin, it installs but does not display the settings on the WooCommerce settings page(s)
So I can’t add a list of postcodes or change any other settings, the WooCommerce General tab in settings is blank.
Anyone have any idea or preferably a solution to this issue?
This postcode restriction is the only thing holding me back from putting my site live for customers
Thanks in advance!

]]>This plugin is almost perfect but I would really like to be able to enter a list of postcode prefixes with wildcards instead of every single postcode. I need to restrict delivery to England & Wales only and disallow all Scottish and Irish postcodes. If there was wildcard support I could achieve this with a list of about 50 csvs rather than having to enter tens of thousands of postcodes.
i.e. NE*, NW*, etc….
Would you be able to update this plugin to allow wildcards?
