This just want work. Counter is attached to excerpt and every article that is on that page get counted. Count for articles are from 4-5 per view. So after couple page views, bunch of articles have more than 10-20 page views. Documentation is horrible…

If you have more than 1000 unique per day, in 3 months your site will be slow. To many DB updates for history table.
