This plugin has been an incredible help on a site I’m building currently. It perfectly maps the form fields to the post type and gives you a lot of controls and freedom to do whatever you need.
The plugin developer is also very responsive and seems to genuinely care about the quality of this plugin.
I would highly recommend.

I’ve been using CF7 since before I remember. It’s stable, flexible etc.
This plugin complements it perfectly, and is so generic that I can see many applications for it. It has a nice balance between UI-based functionality, as well as writing your own code to various hooks.

Special thanks for the possibility of flexible configuration through hooks!

I developed a journal-like website where users can upload and publish their PDF files. Needless to say all did not work as anticipated, but with @aurovrata unconditional and timely support in the forums here, all hurdles were cleared and my vision was implemented without compromise. Also, I leveraged the plugin for front end administrative functions, using the save-to-draft as the trigger to run custom software according to the content of some fields.
Honestly, I have not often come across such well documented code, that is, for both this plugin and the companion plugin Smart Grid-Layout Design for Contact Form 7
. This makes the integration and customisation a lot easier.
I will willingly spend time to beta test any future versions of @aurovrata’s plugins, that is the least I can do to “payback” and extend my thanks to the author.

There are few plugins as useful, compatible and well supported as this one, which are free for everyone.
It works on my site with 100.000+ posts, along with dozens of other plugins without problems even with several Custom Post Types.
The well documented description to developers convert this plugin in a “freemium” one, giving a great opportunity to other developers to customize it as they want.

Does what it advertises, its a very useful plugin.
Had a problem and the support was quick and efficient. Works perfectly now.

I’ve been using Contact Form 7 on my WP websites for years now. When a client asked me to create a knowledge base for their site with the ability to have user submissions I had a little bit of a panic attack. Creating the Custom Post Type with custom taxonomies and meta fields was straight forward but I had no idea how to handle the client submissions side of things. Thankfully I came across the Post my CF7 Form plugin. It’s simply AMAZING. Very well thought out and extremely well documented. Within a very short period of time I’d created a CF7 form and used the plugin to map all the form fields to the CPT fields. I had one slight technical problem which was answered straight away (not a problem with the plugin but the developer answered my question regardless).

I’ve been looking for a solution to map Pods with a form generator for a while… Only paid solutions… And then I discovered this plugin… Finally I can use a CF7 form to inject data in Pods contents. Thank you very much for this beautiful work.

5.0.0 is truly a before & after version. You can now make changes in the field mapping without drafting the form again and again (the most veterans here know what I mean). Mapping process now goes on-the-fly, and the transition from the old version to 5.0.0 has been miracolously flawless, with no errors.
The plugin allows to map custom post types, custom fields and even custom taxonomies and it follows the WordPress post creation standards. For anyone who’s not familiar with it, this is a good (and very respectful) practice, because if you happen to deactivate the plugin, your created posts will still be there. Practices like this truly help the WordPress community to grow bigger.
Thank you Aurovrata for your support and for this amazing plugin. CF7 (and us, too) owes you a lot, because you’ve taken CF7 to a higher level.

I like this plugin a lot, saves me a lot of work. There where some minor issues but the author did fix it really quickly.

This plugin works perfectly. There was an issue with the messages (not displaying) when visitors submitted their forms. The plugin maker was able to help me out quickly with an update.
What now works for me:
– Create a form
– Map form fields onto custom fields
– Submitted forms displayed in custom fields as custom draft posts
– I only have to review and publish to make the posts appear on the website
Thanks!

This Plugin is awsome. Let your users generate content, and you can do with the stuff everything you want, with of the included filters.
And if an update comes up with any problem -> support forum -> solution is on the way.

There are some minor tweaks that can be done, e. g. editing or at least removing created mapping, but overall it does exactly what I expect and works great. Thank you!

Underrated plugin.
After trying out many other plugins to do what I specifically want (which was not supposed to be complex), I found this and not only does what other plugins can’t, it does even more than I hoped and for free, unlike the “free” plugins that claim to do something then when you install it 90% of the useful things are in the paid version.
All I can say is I’m glad I found this. The support seems good too. With the tutorials on the way and I presume the developer rewriting some of the areas that I guess are too complex for the average user, hopefully that should simply a complex process.

I’ve worked with this plugin on different client projects for a long time now. I keep thinking I should sit down and write my own plugin for client use, but every time I do I return to this plugin and decide there is no need to reinvent what is already in place, done well.
On occasion, when I have had questions, the plugin author has responded clearly and concisely – resolving issues logically. And, it seems, with a sincere interest in teaching about how to use the plugin and write the script necessary to adapt it to specific needs. Well done.

I needed a front-end form to help users post content to a website with or without actually being a registered user. This plugin is great because I needed it to map over a dozen different form inputs to custom AFC fields. I love that I can do the basic stuff from the Dashboard but then can hook in advanced behavior using functions. This plugin makes automating form submissions to posts so easy!

My use case: Allow someone to include a gift message when purchasing delivered food.
The basic functionality of the plugin effectively created individual posts in a custom post type, one for each submitted message. Great. But the real power is in the mapping. Because I don’t want one user who views their online message to tinker with the URL and find another user’s message, I have a hidden field calling a function which creates a unique and very complicated URL (a base64URL of a hash of a UNIX timestamp+random number). I had thought I was going to have to write my own code to push the contents of that hidden field into the post slug, but this plugin allows me to map that field directly to the slug when the post is created. Fantastic.

Second time I have used this plugin. Works correctly.
