]]>From the description of the Post Google Map, it appeared to me that the map pin icon would show the description in a popup. All I see is the address. Is there anyway of adding the description. We would like to use this plugin to plot Yard Sales for our newspaper.
]]>Hi there, is there a setting to specify the size of the map? I looked on the plugin settings and don’t see any. I looked at the FAQs here on WP.org repo and nothing either?
Also I specified the shortcode to appear at the bottom of the post and it’s appearing at the top of the page.
Here’s the actual page:

Any suggestions please?
]]>I worked with your pluggin version 1.3.1 and it runs perfectly, but when I updated at the 1.6.1 version it doesn’t run. I show the map on mi sidebar for each post to locate places to visit in a personal travel blog, this is the url https://www.edp.cat/travellum. but at this moment doesn’t appear on it
Please, could you help me?
]]>Hi,
I have couple of questions:
1) If I don’t want to display a map in a certain post, how can I make the map disappear? Not entering any address won’t make the job as it displays random location.
2) Where can I control the zoom and the language of the map?
Is entering the codes manually into the php files possible?
Additionally if you know of any similar plugin which allows you to enter an address into a post and displays in a sidebar, I would be glad to hear.
Thanks
]]>I’m running a restaurant review blog, and for every review I write (in a post), I use our map plugin to display a map in the sidebar showing were the place is located. Is there any way I can have a map on a WordPress page, displaying ALL locations I’ve reviewed? And when I click a location, it takes me to the post associated with that location?
]]>Just wanted to point out that we’re not actively developing this plugin nor do we have any plans for it at the moment. We’ll try to help when possible though, if you choose to use it anyway.
]]>Is there anyway to display the address of a map that’s associated with a post? In other words, I have a post and I have a map displayed on that post. I would like to display the address of that map in the post content somewhere. eg. 1234 Apple Street. (like get_post_meta)
Thanks
Hi is not present an edit button, any idea to insert it in the next release? It would be very helpful. Thanks

I can’t get my map to function the way I want (I’m very new to WordPress):
My map at the bottom of every post should show the location of the posts artist.
The map at the right side-bar should show a pin for the country of every previous entry (so viewers can navigate to posts via the map).
If you could be troubled to go in on my site (andanse.com) – you’ll see the post “Album 98. Taalbi Brothers: “Ameksa”.
On this post there’s a map on the bottom of the page, which shows pins of my three first post entries. This map I would like to have on the right hand side-bar.
The map showing on the right side-bar now, should be on the bottom of the post (because this shows where that specific band is from).
– In other words the two maps should be switched… I’ve tried everything I can think of, but I’ve only worked on my blog a week, so there’s a lot of thing yet to learn…
Sincerely
Anderz
I’m new to wordpress, and I’ve just got my blog up and running – andante.com. I’m going to post a list of 100 music records from all over the world. Each post is of one album, with a track-list, info, revue, youtube link, and so forth. I also want to have a map to show where the band/artist is from (this I’ve accomplished ok so far).
In my right side-bar, I have different lists to navigate. I would like to have a world map with pin of every artist with its country tagged on it. The reader should be able to click on the tag on the map, and thereby coming to the appropriate post.
I’ve got the plug-ins; Post Google Map and CodePeople Post Map, but neither is working as I hoped – probably because I’m doing something wrong.
In one post the map doesn’t show at all, in another it shows only in the side-bar, and on a third (draft) the previously map-points shows in the new post…
I’ve tried the appropriate help pages of the plug-ins, without getting much wiser – so if anybody can help, I would be very grateful!
I have worked out how to set the address for a map within a post, but how do I set the widget address so that there is a permanent map of my address in the sidebar?
]]>We recently updated to Post Google Map v1.6 and the pins are no longer showing up on our map.
The data still seems to be okay on each individual post (in the single post edit page, it’s still listing the locations that were previously set).
The pins should be showing here: https://tastertotsla.com/map/
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Andrew

]]>Hi, I need include the “View Larger Map” link after map div, how can I do that?
Greetings.
]]>One of these is seemingly a possible bug and the other may not be a feature but I thought I would check.
My map is here: https://bonlifecoffee.com/maps/
Markers – For the top most location I chose a yellow marker and for the bottom a blue marker but for some reason they are both showing blue. Any ideas how to get these to display different markers?
Pop-Ups – If you click on the marker you don’t get a pop-up with the address and description. I’m assuming it’s supposed to but perhaps you can tell me if I’m incorrect in my assumption?
Thanks for your assistance.
]]>When you place the shortcode into a post it always displays at the top of the post instead of where the shortcode was placed within the content. I’m assuming this has something to do with it echoing and not returning the data but haven’t dug into it just yet.
Any plans to correct this?
