WordPress page pagination goes to a special article. I installed “Post Category Prev-Next Link Fix” But did not work.

What can I do?

Thank you for your effort to fix the problem with the prev – next navigation. However, it only redirected me to the home page, regardless of which page number I clicked on. So I had to deactivate it again.
The website is in maintenance mode. Therefore, I can’t give any link to it.
I tried to clean the cache with no difference in the outcome. So maybe I have to wait for a WP update.
