When I login to my Boldgrid free Cloud WordPress Dashboard and choose Login, I cannot reach my Instance. Only thing seen is the web browser searching for a long time and then, it gives error message (even though nothing is changed, no firewall or proxy is used, connection is working). I was working on my website last night just fine. This morning when I resumed editing, dragging/resizing columns no longer works. In addition, content has moved on its own – hence why I wanted to fix it by dragging and resizing. This seems to be an issue even when adding new blocks. The line simply goes red and will not move. I have not amended any plugins and have already tried to close everything out and re-open it.

]]>Hi – When I try to update any of the BoldGrid plugins (Builder, Total Upkeep, Inspiration, etc) under the WPZOOM theme Inspiro, I am getting errors and it won’t allow me to update. It puts me in maintenance mode and I have to remove the .maintenance file to get admin to work again (it does not break the site). I used to have no issue updating, and all my other plugins update without issue. Can you help? Thanks.

I am relatively new to WordPress,?but have managed to build a useful website, in that, it can be used to show a page which connects to a sales funnel. This is ClickBank product advertised on Pinterest.
It appears I must build all pages through Templates. A Page, when linked to a Template, only displays what’s on the Template. Whatever I write to the page is not displayed at all. I think this must be wrong and something is screwed-up ?
Correct should be to create a pages template with Header, Footer,? Image and maybe some other Blocks for filling in the TXT in Pages.? This is how the WP for Beginners Coarse explains it anyway.
It is, however,?not working this way.? Templates have full and total control on what is being shown on the website.? I have tried everything within my so far limited WP capacity, and can’t resolve it.? Maybe, it’s just the way it is. Please help.

Very small issue. The main page of my site doesn’t show the same kind of margins and alignment on desktop as all the other pages. I actually inserted a small space at the top of the text of my main page to serve as an artificial margin so it doesn’t look as strange from the top, but both the top and the left margins are a good bit further out. I actually don’t mind the look of either one, and probably nobody will ever notice the difference, but I would enjoy it if I could make the pages look consistent with each other. Do you have any ideas what might cause this?
I do have the following bit of custom CSS because I couldn’t find another way of hiding the large titles on all the various pages:

But I don’t think this is related, I tried removing it and the margin issue looked the same.

After a recent change to menu structure, the way the menu font displays on the website has unexpectedly changed. In the site builder, the menus display more or less how I want them to, except that capital A’s are displayed in a somewhat larger, sans serif font than the one I have selected. When I view the published version of my website, the capital A’s remain displayed in this unexpected way, while the rest of the menu text has changed to a serif font which is not the one that I have selected for my menus. Can you provide any insight about why this has occurred and how I can possibly fix it?

I moved my WordPress installation from a folder to the root of my domain and can no longer log in to Bold Grid. After logging in to my webhosts account and logging in to WordPress I get redirected to https://mostlynative.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fmostlynative.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 where BoldGrid’s log on is displayed. I attempt to log in and nothing happens. I logged into BoldGrid directly to your website without issue and my website in the current (root directory) is listed as connected to my connect key. Please help me log in. I cannot get into my website to edit it until I am able to log in to BoldGrid from the wp-admin section of my website.

I am unable to log in to the site and continue building my website because of the block. I submitted a ticket to Webroot about the link and received the following confirmation from Webroot/Brightcloud:

]]>I am using the Charitable plugin which has a custom post type “campaign”. I have had nothing but issues trying to use this plugin with the BoldGrid plugins and themes. (it was an absolute NIGHTMARE trying figuring out the right file & code to add to my Bold-Grid child-theme just to turn off the sidebars on my campaign pages)
While editing a campaign, I can see the editor dropdown selector. Because I was having issues getting the “Post & Page Builder” editor to work with Charitable campaigns, I wanted to test which of the available editor options would work before I updated the default campaign editor in the “Post & Page Builder” settings. So I opened a campaign, and I selected the WordPress Editor from the top-right dropdown. After doing this when I go to edit this campaign I get a blank page and NO ERROR message in my log file to tell me why. I am able to edit any other campaign, but this one campaign I am unable to edit at all. I assume there is some silly DB setting associated with this post record that I need to edit/delete to release this campaign so I can edit it again. Cloning or Rewrite & Republish the campaign simply copies over whatever problem is linked to this campaign that prevents me from editing it.
If someone can point me in the right direction on how to fix this, I’d appreciate it.
]]>I am using the plugin “Wired Impact Volunteer Management” and though I have set the custom post type “Volunteer Opportunities” (post_type=volunteer_opp) in the settings for “Post and Page Builder”, I only see the Classic WordPress editor when I create a new “volunteer_opp”. The ONLY way that I can get the “Post and Page Builder” editor to come up is if I leave the editor as default in the “Post and Page Builder” settings and then using the menu select it under “Plugins”.
I saw another post suggesting adding this code:

It looks ok on the PC browser, its an inverted triangle “carrot”, but on tablet and mobile its just a “box”.
